My dad and I arrived home. I got out of the car and started to walk to the front door. I made my way up the cement steps. I was about to insert the key into the lock when I hear Chaeyi's voice.

"LYN!" She shouts.

She sprints over to me, tackling me and a hug. After a few moments, I escape her tight grip and regain my posture. I can turn towards the door and slide the key in. This time I reign successful. Chaeyi and I walk in.

"You go upstairs, I'll get the snacks," I tell her.

She nods and walks upstairs. I walk towards the kitchen. I hear the front door close, indicating that my dad had made it inside. I grab some Capri Suns, a few candy bars, and some chips. My dad comes in holding a little basket.

"Put then in here," He said, holding the basket forward.

I dump all of my things in the basket and sigh in relief.

"Thanks, Dad," I tell him.

"No problem, sweetie. I'm going to bed now," he says and walks off.

I bring the basket upstairs to my bedroom. I open the door to find Chaeyi on the floor sitting cross-legged on her phone.

"What are you all smiley about?" I ask her suspiciously.

"Nothing," she says in a very not convincing tone.

"Mhm, sure. I'll bet it's a boy," I say as I set the basket on my desk.

"At the mention of boys, how was your day with Chan?" She asked in a teasing tone.

"It was nice," I say vaguely.

I knew she was going to question me further on it, but I wanted to mess with her. I take a Capri Sun and sip it slowly.

"Yeah right, I'll bet you guys were making out." She says, also getting herself a Capri Sun from the basket.

"Nope," I tell her.

I sit on my bed and turn away from her.

"Fine, fine, I'll be nice. Now please tell me! I have to know!" She says, clinging to my arm with big doe eyes.

"Fine, but sit back and listen please," I say.

She nods vigorously and sits herself up right next to me.

"Well, I arrived and knocked on the door. His mother answered and told me to go upstairs to his room. I walked up the stairs to his room and knock on his door. He answers shirtless an-"

"YOU SAW HIM SHIRTLESS!" Chaeyi shouts as she cuts me off.

"Shh, before my dad hears," I say as I put my hand over her mouth.

I slowly take it away and she keeps quiet.

"Okay, fine, I'll be quiet." She says. "Wait, one question; Did he look nice?" She asks me.

Blush starts to creep up my cheeks as I remember his heavily toned body and his muscley arms. I look away from Chaeyi but she caught on.

"Oooh, so he did. And you're blushing." She states before bursting into a fit of laughter.

I glare at her, still with bright red cheeks, and push her off my bed. She lands on the floor with a thud but continues to laugh. Sometimes I question my friend choices. I give up on hushing her so I just continue.

"Anyways, as I was saying, he runs off into his bathroom and closes the door. I stood in the doorframe awkwardly before sitting down on his desk chair. He comes out a bit later and asks if he can sing a song. He sings it, and his singing voice is absolutely amazing. Anyways, I ask him what the song was about, he tells me. I will not be telling you because I respect his privacy." I tell her and she pouts a little but nods understandingly. "I hug him, then we watch Itaewon Class, but I fell asleep. A bit later I woke up and see him at his desk, asleep, so I went and put a blanket on him. I got distracted and played with his hair a bit, and he woke up. I was really embarrassed. That's when I saw your post. After we had the little conversation, I told him about you and Jungsoo. He said he's excited to meet you guys. He also told me about his friends. He said he was Australian and we had a quick English conversation and my dad texted me. Nothing really happened." I tell her, purposely keeping a few details vague.

"Oooh, looks like someone has developed quite the crush," Chaeyi says as she wiggles her eyebrows up and down suggestively.

"No, I haven't. We barely know each other," I said.

I don't like it when people assume my feelings. It get's really annoying.

"Let's just get some sleep. I'm kind of tired." I say as I get up to change into some comfy clothes.

Luckily she takes the hint and nods. I walk into my bathroom with clothes and change. A few minutes I walk out to see that Chaeyi had also changed. She walks  over to the light switch and turns the lights off. She walks over to my bed and we both lay down. This was the usual routine for our sleepovers. Being bestfriends for a long time, we sleep in the same bed.

A few thoughts of the day go through my mind, but I push them away and close my eyes, slowly drifting into dreamland.
