Cherilyn p.o.v.

When we came home last night, I told my parents goodnight and headed straight for my bed. After a few moments, I realized I was still wearing my dinner dress so I quickly changed into a pair of soft shorts and a T-shirt. I then flopped down onto my bed and fell asleep immediately.

I wake up to the loud sound of my alarm clock, it showed 8:30. I get up and walk over to the bathroom. I look at myself in the mirror. My hair was a mess and my face was smeared with the mascara I forgot to take off last night. I groan in frustration and decide to take a nice warm shower.

The water hitting my back felt so soothing. I put the shampoo in my hair and scrub it all over my long black hair. I wash it and put in my conditioner and turn off the shower to set it in. I did other things in the meantime.

About ten minutes later I wash my hair out and washed my face with facewash. I step out and wrap a towel around myself. I then plug in my hairdryer and turn it on.

It took about 15 minutes to dry my hair. I walk out of my bathroom and walk to my dresser and decide to put on some sweatpants and T-shirt. I walk down the stairs and head to the kitchen. There I see both of my parents. My mother is making French toast while my dad is sitting at the dining room table. I walk over and sit next to him.

"So, at around 3:00 is when we'll drop you off today, okay?" He said.

I give him a blank look as I am very confused about what he is talking about. I then realize what he was talking about. I was supposed to be heading over to Chan's house today. I small rush of heat went up to my cheeks.

"Okay," I tell him. He nods then drinks his water. My mom walks over and places a plate of French toast in front of me and my father. I pour some syrup on them and eat it in silence. I can't believe I forgot that I was going over to Chan's today.

I quickly finished my breakfast and went upstairs. The clock shows 9:30; I've got time. I go to my desk and flip through my Math book. I plan on studying until 12.

Which is exactly what happened. I look at the clock and it says 12:03. Just on time. I flop down on my bed and scroll through social media. I looked at Chaeyi's posts. It's a photo of us at the park from last week, and another photo, this time with Jungsoo when we were roller skating. I fell hundreds of times, and I still have some bruises on my legs.

After I finished liking the posts, I grabbed my laptop. I opened up my favorite show of all time; Itaewon Class. I've seen it quite a few times and I love the storyline. After two episodes my clock showed 2:00 pm. It's time to get ready.

I decided on something simple and cute.

After I put the outfit on, I walk to the bathroom and put some light makeup on.

I walk downstairs and see my mom looking ready to go. My dad sat next to her struggling with his tie, so my mom turns over to him to help.

"How about we go and get some food real quick before we go to drop you off?" My father suggests while looking at his watch. "We've got 30 minutes."

My mom agrees while I nod. I put my shoes on ad sling my white purse over my head. We get into my father's car and drive to Burger King. I just ordered a 7.  My parents didn't get anything since they'd be having a meal with some co-workers.

I got my food after a bit and ate it. We then drove over to Chan's house. I was suddenly anxious and nervous. My mom notices this and rubs my arms.

"You're going to be okay. If anything happens, call us, okay?" She reassured.

I nodded my head and got out of the car. I walk up to the front door and knock gently. The door was opened by Ms. Bang.

"Come in Cherilyn," she says as she opens the door wider for me to enter.

I bow and walk-in. The house was beautiful on the inside. It was a nice two-story house. There was wood flooring that went throughout the house.

"Chan is upstairs, in his room. It's the last one." Ms. Bang said to me. I nod and walk up the stairs and down a hall. She said it was the last room, so I walked to the end of the hall. I reached what I presumed to be his door. I again felt anxious. I knocked gently on his door.
