He smiled, "I guess so."

You and Alucard made your way north towards the temple which held the relics. Gunshots were heard all around the forest. You had the silver gun on you if you needed it, but you prefer your thrown weapons since they're more controllable.

Anyway. Things were going well, you Alucard made small talk while walking. You two hadn't seen any monsters and you weren't picking any up on your radar. This was easy. Too easy. Although you technically had a secondary mission of not letting anyone die.

Oh well, you're not a god. You can't control life and death. "So how has the Belmont clan been in this new world?"

"It's been difficult with all the new hybrids, and let's not forget that some new vampire cabals have been created. Although because of it all, the Belmonts have become world renowned."

"I can see the advantages and disadvantages of that. Considering your potential far reach have you guys heard anything about my father?"

"Nothing yet. We're keeping an ear out just in case something happens."

"Understandable. Well let's get this over with." He then grabs your shoulder and holds your head then runs all the way to the temple. You two passed all manner of creature. Monsters, Grimm, Hybrids. When you got there, you witnessed two girls, Yang and Blake, grab a relic from the temple. It seemed to be a white knight chess piece.

You two showed up in the blink of an eye, startling them. Blake being ever observant decided to point it out. "Did those two just appear out of nowhere?"

The sound of "HEADS UPPPPPPP!" Was heard from above. Looking, you could see Ruby falling before being abruptly smacked into a tree by Jaune.

Blake turned to Yang, "Did you sister just fall from the sky?"

Then from the tree line came a "YEEEEE-HAWWWWWW" An ursa with the ginger girl that woke you up earlier riding it busted into the clearing. The ursa died shortly after.

They were followed by the black-haired guy with a pink stripe. "Please don't ever do that again."

The ginger then sped to the temple and grabbed a white rook. "I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"

"NORA!"

She then looked at the guy, "Coming Ren!"

Blake had another thing to add. "Did she just ride in on an Ursa?"

Pyrrha was then thrown in and rolled on the ground. Yang finally acknowledged her sister "RUBY!"

"YANG!"

"RUBY!"

"NORA!" The now named Nora jumped in between them interrupting their reunion.

You decided that checking on Pyrrha would be the best use of your time. There wasn't any immediate danger. Although before you got too close, she sprung up in her fighting stance. Then the monster that was chasing her appeared. A deathstalker who's skin was a sickly grey color.

Must've been undead. Thankfully your specialty weapons would make it easier to kill. Again, Blake decided to be a smartass. "Did that girl just run all the way here with a deathstalker on her tail?"

Yang finally decided she had enough "CAN THERE BE 2 SECONDS WHERE NOTHING HAPPENS?" You counted to 2 to see if her wish would be granted.

Then it was. Ruby tugged on her sister's sleeve. "Uhh, Yang?" She then pointed up where Weiss was hanging onto the leg of a Nevermore.

It had bat like wings as well as its four feet being more mammalian. There was a mane around its neck, and you could barely make out fangs sticking out from its beak.

"How could you leave me?" You weren't paying attention; you were keeping the deathstalker at bay with Alucard and Pyrrha. Don't want to interrupt them or anything.

Ruby retaliated, "I told you to jump!!!!"

"She's gonna fall." Blake pointed out.

Ruby denied it. "Pshhh, she'll be fine."

"She's falling."

Jaune who finally recovered, decided to try and be a hero. He leaped off the tree he crashed into earlier with his arms outstretched to catch her. "Just... Dropping in." You internally cringed at the pun while dodging a tail strike from the giant undead scorpion.

They then both fell to the ground with Jaune face planting. "My hero." Weiss said with as much sarcasm as possible. You didn't blame her.

But right now, you didn't have the time to contemplate this. "Guys, if you could get out of here that would be great!"

Yang and Weiss seemed to grow offended by that. "Why just us?" They said in unison.

You then got kind of irritated. "This whole time we've been defensive because we're protecting you. We can't go offensive until you get out of here. Pyrrha go with them in case something else comes up."

She nods, "Alright people let's get out of here!"

Jaune agreed with you and Pyrrha, "Run and live, I can get behind that." He then ran and grabbed a relic. Also being the white rook.

Ruby then dashed and grabbed the last white knight piece. Then she looked up, "Guysssss, that thing's circling back!"

The Nevermore and what you assumed to be Manticore hybrid was indeed coming back. "Then let's get the heck out of here!" Jaune yelled and they all began retreating.

The hybrid nevermore followed them and the undead deathstalker attempted to follow but was stopped by you and Alucard. "So Alucard, ready to kill this bastard?"

He smirks. Although it is soon turned sour when a horde of skeleton archers emerged from the forest. They seemed like just normal monsters from "your" world. But the extra bony armor plates indicated they had Grimm influence in them.

Alucard inspected your weapons for a second. "You take the scorpion; I take the skeletons?" He proposed.

You laughed a little, " Why, don't wanna take the big guy?"

Then he laughs a little. "I've fought side by side with enough Belmonts to understand they're better at solo fights."

"Fair enough." He then charged at the skeletons as they released a volley of arrows. You turned to the scorpion as it turned to stopped Alucard. You snapped your whip at it catching its attention.

Time to kill this thing.
