"This place is crazy." You then decided to go find your apartment, and bookmark this as your first night in Vale.

Currently:

You were on the airship to Beacon and you were all geared up. The familiar weight of all your weapons was a comfort to you. Looking around the airship you see a familiar red girl being crushed by an unfamiliar yellow girl.

"Ooo, I can't believe my baby sister is coming to school with me!" They were sisters? They looked nothing alike in almost anyway.

"Yyyyyang, let me go. I don't want to make a big deal out of this." You could see Ruby's logic with being below the radar.

"But it is a big deal, you're getting into Beacon a whole two years early." On the other hand, you could also see the now named Yang's logic. Getting into Beacon is an accomplishment already, but getting in early is almost impossible.

Deciding to one, save Ruby, and two meet someone new, you make your way over to the pair. "Hey Ruby. Hello other person I don't know." The supposed sisters turned to you and Ruby's eyes lit up.

"Y/N! How's it going?"

You just sighed, "Eh, it's alright. Vale is a nice enough kingdom and I'm looking forward to being a student here at Beacon." You then turned your attention to the girl you didn't know, "And I don't believe we've been introduced."

Yang's violet eyes gleamed mischievously, "Most people call me Yang, but you can call me anytime hot stuff." She winked at you.

Ah, she was one of those flirty types. You glanced at Ruby who seemed to be groaning internally. So this was also a frequent thing. Deciding to play her game a little bit you shot right back, "Well give me your number and I can make that happen."

Judging from her reaction, Yang was caught off guard. She's probably used to people getting flustered, but not you. Almost all Belmonts are naturally charismatic, and you were no exception.

She recomposed herself, "I can tell you're going to be fun."

The hologram flickered to life, "The robbery was led by nefarious criminal Roman Torchwick, who continues to evade authorities. If you have any information, please contact the Vale Police Department. Back to you Lisa."

The clearly named Lisa spoke, "Thank you. In other news a faunus protest turned dark after the White Fang intervened, blah blah blah."

You kind of tuned out the rest. I mean sure faunus rights and the white fang were serious issues, but after hearing about them day after day, you grow kind of numb to it.

However the news broadcast was cut off and in it's place stood the blonde from the night you and Ruby stopped Torchwick.

"Hello and welcome to Beacon."

Yang was visibly confused, "Who's that?"

"My name is Glynda Goodwitch."

"Oh"

"You are among a privileged few who have received the honor of being selected to attend this prestigious academy! Our world is experiencing an incredible time of peace, and as future Huntsmen and Huntresses, it is your duty to uphold it. You have demonstrated the courage needed for such a task, and now it is our turn to provide you with the knowledge and the training to protect our world."

Turning you saw Ruby looking out the window, "Wow I can see Signal from here."

Yang walked up to her and put her arm around her, "See, Sis, home isn't so far after all."

"No Yang, this is our home now." You decided to just let them have their moment. That was then promptly ruined by a blonde dude running past them with a hand over his mouth.

"Guess the view's not for everyone." Ruby then noticed something, "Oh, gross, Yang there's vomit on your shoe!"

Yang tried to shake the vomit off, "EW GET IT OFF."

You were just watching and trying to contain your laughter. Looking out the window, you realize Beacon is still a little while away. You grab a seat next to a girl wearing mainly black and pulled out your own book. It was another book about the monsters of Vale, but this was more about the Hybrids than anything.

The girl noticed you reading and decided to strike up a conversation, "So what are you reading?"

You glanced at her to see she hadn't even looked away from her book. You returned to reading, "Just a book about some of the local monsters. My mother doesn't want me to die while I'm here." You then glanced at her book, "What about you?"

"It's about a man with two souls fighting for control in his own body."

Interesting, you haven't read many fictional books since your mother was trying to drill reality into your head. Again you weren't mad at her, she was just trying to make sure you stayed alive in this dangerous line of work.

"I'll have to read it sometime. Maybe I can borrow it from you once you're done?" Out of the corner of your eye you saw her nod. "Name's Y/N Belmont. Nice to meet you."

You could see the girl's eyes widen, "My name's Blake, Blake Belladonna."

You've met Ghira and Kali on a monster hunting trip to Menagerie with your father when you were younger. Unfortunately you weren't able to meet her as she was out to protest somewhere else in Remnant.

"I remember your parents, they were very hospitable when I was in Menagerie." You then lowered your voice, "Tell me Blake, why hide who you are?"

"You may be on good terms with faunus, but the majority of your people are not."

You could understand her logic. She was in danger just by being here. "Understood, I won't say anything."

She sighed in relief, "Thank you I appreciate that."

You both then continued to read on in silence. It took about half an hour, but your comfortable silence was broken by the airship jerking thanks to the landing.

You stood up and walked out to be greeted by the sight of Beacon Academy in all it's glory. As well as that sick blonde from earlier off to the side puking his guts out.
