Mitch's Point of View

Avi went up the stairs to bed after beating the crap out of Eric. I watched him strut up the stairs and heard the door to his room slam shut. We all shared a long silence before Scott shattered it.

"You okay, Mitch?" he asked, stepping in front of me. I snapped out of my thoughts and remembered I was punched just a few minutes ago.

"I uh, I don't know...." I honestly said. I lifted my shirt to show a big bruise forming under my chest. Just seeing the purple-ish blue and green spot form made my body realize that I was in pain. I gritted my teeth together as Scott ran his fingers over it.

"That son of a—" Scott began.

"Scott!" Kevin warned. "No time for this, lets get you some Ice, Mitch. Scott you go up and check on the... couple?" Scott gave me a quick peck on the forehead before rushing up the stairs.

Scott's Point of View

I ran up the stairs and stopped outside of Kirstie's room. I was going to check on her first because, well, her room was closer.

I knocked and waited for an answer. "Come in..." she sniffed. Knowing she had been crying I busted through the door to see her cuddled up on her bed.

"Kirstie! Honey! Don't cry!" I said running to her side. I rubbed her back as she let out some more sobs.

"I heard everything...." she finally said. My heart fell to my stomach.

"Well, did you also hear Avi beat the living shit out of him?" I laughed a little.

"What?" She asked, smirking for a second.

"Yeah, he said some pretty mean things about you then punched Mitch so Avi came and put him in his place. You should have seen him! He was on fire!"

She started to giggle and I laughed with her. We talked and laughed for a few minutes when we heard a quiet knock at the door. We both looked up to see Avi standing there.

"Hey, can I talk to Kirstie for a minute?" He asked. I nodded and made my way off the bed and out the door.

As I left, I heard him start to apologize and whisper something. I shut the door and went down the stairs too see how my Mitchie was doing.

As I bounced off the last step, I saw Mitch sitting on a bar stool with ice on his stomach.

"Hey you..." I greeted, sitting on the stool next to him.

"Hey," he breathed out. I moved the ice from his stomach to see a bruise forming.

"Oh, Mitchie..." I sighed. "I wish I was here.... I could have stopped hi—" he cut me off with a kiss.

"How's Kirstie?" He asked ,as if nothing just happened. I laughed through my nose and ran my hand through my hair.

"She was pretty sad at first, but then I told her how sexy Avi was when he beat up Eric, now she's happy and talking to Avi," I explained.

"They really need to get back together," he said, fiddling with the water droplets on the counter. "I know what Kirstie did was wrong but honestly, they are perfect for each other." I nodded my head and tried to think of what they were talking about right now.
