Chapter 18

Kirstie’s Point of View

It’s been 4 days since my release and I was still feeling sore. Avi was just the best boyfriend any girl could have. He would bring me food, he would rub my feet, and he would rent movies and watch them with me.

I was just lying in bed watching “P.S I Love you” for the 100th time. It was such a cute movie!

There was a knock at the door followed by giggling.

“It’s open!” I called from my bed of warmness.

The knob twisted slowly and the door burst open, showing 4 men with their hands filled with balloons and what seemed to look like cakes.

“Surprise!!” They sang, rushing in, surrounding my bed with everything they bought.

“Oh my—guys!!” I laughed as the through stuffed animals and confetti in my face. “Who should I blame for this?”

“Your teddy bear right over there!” Mitch said, pointing to the blushing bass sitting on the bed.

“It was all of our ideas, I just paid for the whole thing,” he said humbly. His face was as red as the jeans Scott was wearing.

“I love you guys so much! This---I really needed this right now,” I thanked. My cheeks felt like they were going to fall off I was smiling so big.

“I just have one request,” Kevin said, standing in between bunches of balloons.

“And what’s that?” I asked.

“We eat this cake NOW! I haven’t eaten since 10:00 this morning!”

We all laughed as he started to cut into the cake.

Avi moved out of Kevin’s way and sat closer to me.

“How’d you sleep?” He asked smiling.

“Great!” I answered, grabbing the plate of vanilla cake Kevin handed to me. Avi grabbed his and dug right in.

“This is really sweet,” I said smiling at him.

“Well it is cake…” he pointed out.

I sighed and grabbed his hand.

“I meant all of this, thank you…”

He looked over at me with a mouth full of cake, making his cheeks puff out.

“Oh, um…” he stuttered, looking away, finishing the cake in his mouth. “Thank you…”

“For what?”

“Not dying.”

I laughed and continued to pick at my cake. “You’re welcome then.”

He scooted closer, having our hips touch.

“Oh and one more thing,” as I was about to turn to look at him I felt a big piece of cake in my face.

“What the?!” I laughed, wiping the icing from my eyes.

“I love you!” He giggled, smiling his little baby smile. I got a good grip on my plate then laughed it at the little bearded “teddy bear” as Mitch calls him next to me.

He was silent for a few minutes then started to chuckle.

“And I love you,” I tried to push out but it came out more as: “an I ov oo” from all the laughing.

He too wiped the icing off of his face then without thinking grabbed a handful of the cake in the middle of the bed and smeared it in my face.

“Ahh!” I playfully screamed. I too grabbed cake along with the rest of the guys and we all started throwing cake across the room.

“Scott! Hey!” I heard Mitch squeal.

“Kevin! You’ve betrayed me!” Scott accused, throwing another ball of cake blindly.

I looked over to see Avi smiling like a child, eyes lit up and his smile, oooh his smile, was stretched across his cake covered face.

I leaned forward and kissed his cheek. His cheeks turned red and he turned his head, giving me his piercing green eyes.

“I love you,” I said tilting my head to the left, resting my head on my shoulder.

He chuckled and gave me a quick kiss. “I love you too and I am so sorry I have to do this…”

“Wait what? No! Avriel Kaplan! NO!” He picked up the whole cake plate and let it all fall on my head.

“You little!” I picked up one of the many stuffed animals and wacked him right in the face. The food fight quickly turned into a food, pillow, stuffed animal, and anything you could get your hands on battle.

I love this group and there is nothing I could ever love more.

Eric’s Point of View

I was in my office, getting some extra work done.

Okay, I’ll be honest. I was trying to get my head off of someone… someone beautiful and who has been in my mind all week.

It got to the point where I had to call.

I pulled out my phone, dialed the number on my computer and waited for an answer.

“Hello? Hi! This is Eric Miller!--- I think we should talk about those dreams of hers…”

Hey! I have already planned out the whole story so i will warn you now, there are going to be parts where you are going to want to kill me then there are ones where you are going to want to stop reading but i assure you, the end will be PHENOMINAL if i do say so myself.
