VIREN POV
Waking up to the soft tunes of some Hindi song playing in the background, I instinctively reach out for Paakhi.
But the side beside me is cold and empty.
With a yawn, I stand up from the bed and walk over to the washroom to do my morning business.
From the bathroom window, I identify Paakhi in the pool.
"Morning Love," I greet her walking towards one of the sun chairs.
"Viren! Morning," she turns to me with a massive smile.
I acknowledge the beauty of my wife at this moment.
Her wet hair sticking to her face, while her piercing gaze is set at me, and that massive smile, the one that always coerces me to catch my breath."How did you sleep?" She asks walking towards me at the edge of the pool.
"Peacefully," I reply and hear my stomach gurgling.
"Seems like someone is hungry," she giggles at me.
I smile and stand up, "I'll order us some breakfast,"
She nods her head and gets back to her swimming.
Walking to the room, I order a floating breakfast for us.
Till the time it arrives, I change into my swimwear and check my phone.
Replying to a mail here and there, I wait for our breakfast to arrive.
When the doorbell rings, I grab the tray and walk to the pool area.
"Our breakfast is here," I announce while settling the tray slowly into the water.
It floats and Paakhi cheers happily.
I rush back into the room and grab my camera before joining her in the pool.
"I can't wait," she comments.
I observe she has tied her hair in a bun and now has a set of goggles adorned.
"Pick one donut and one waffle, I'll click your picture," I suggest to her.
She excitedly nods and obeys.
"Shift a bit to your right," I instruct looking through the camera.
"Perfect!" I announce and click the picture.
"This smells so good," she sniffs the waffle and comments.
