Erin Wilson joins on a hunt for gold when her and her friends come across a sunken boat in the marshes, only for all of them to realize that they may have bitten of more than they can chew.

I woke up, my dream being interrupted by the realization that my alarm didn't go off. I looked over to see it off completely, I quickly checked my phone to see that there was no service either. Groaning I got up and got ready, as I brushed my teeth I checked to see if my mom came back or if she was still gone. Her body was draped onto the couch snores leaving her mouth, I sighed and threw a blanket onto her.
After brushing my teeth I fetched out the old stereo from under my bed and got some cassettes from the box of junk in the closet, I figured it would be the perfect day too use it. I checked on my mom one last time before heading out the door.
"Jesus Fucking Christ, Agatha." I say in shock as I look at the absolute mess that was my yard.
I got on the dock that was attached to my house, waiting until I heard the familiar sounding boat making its way towards me. I watched as John B and JJ slowed the boat down to pick me up.
"Hey there gorgeous." JJ greeted grabbing the stereo and cassettes, setting them down
"Hey, so what's the plan for today?" I ask as JJ lifts me up a bit and sets me into the boat
"Surge pushed the crabs into the marsh maze. We're just listening to the signs it's sending." John says as he starts the boat up again
"So what do you got there?" JJ asks me, leaning down to see what I was doing with the stereo.
"Well, I found this awhile ago in the closet. Put some new batteries in it but never had a good reason to use it. Until today." I inform him, quickly putting my hair in a ponytail to keep it out of my face
I hold up three cassettes and hold them to him. "Pick one."
"Is this some cassette version of a card trick?" He asks before grabbing one and holding it out to me
I just chuckle and put the tape in, then I rewind it until it stops then I press play. 80's or 90's pop music comes out of it making me throw my fist up in excitement.
"Fucking nailed that shit." I say happily as I set it aside as it plays.
JJ holds up his hand and gives me a high five, I put my sandals to the side before plopping my ass down at the front of the boat. We drove the boat up to Heyward's and I listened in as JJ and John make random chatter.
"It's kind of a smugglers boat." JJ points out as we pass by some people
"Good mornin'!" John B says to them
"Sure home Guffy's boat didn't sink. He doesn't have insurance." JJ said to him, followed by JB agreeing
"Hi, Miss Amy! You guys get through it?" John asks as we pass by her on the dock
"Still here." She calls back out
"She totally looked at me." JJ says, leaning down so that she wouldn't hear
