Imagine: Ever since Luke knew about your suicidal attempts he grew even closer to you. You guys were best friends but he couldn't deny the feelings that grew through out those late night besides you. Helping you and wanting you to stop. But one night you couldn't take it. You cut too far, this time wing an accident, but for Luke it wasn't an accident and if your motive was to be a relief for everyone, for Like it wasn't, it was something he would never forgive himself for.

I felt a tear run down my cheek as I stared at her casket. I didn't even want to see her face, because all I wanted was for this to be a nightmare.

I wanted it to be a horrible dream I couldn't seem to wake up of, and I knew that if I looked into that casket, and saw her there, still, fragile, and cold, something she was never made up of it would seem too real.

I felt my heart tighten when I remembered the night I got the call.

It was 3:43 am, when I heard my phone ring. I wasn't surprised at all, not even scared because I knew that when I answered Y/N would answer.

She would be alive and asking my help, needing someone with her, someone to be with, and every time I went over she would be in her room scared and shaking.

I would always walk over and wrap her in my arms, I would sit with her an let her vent. I would let her talk about everything that's making her feel the way it did.

But that night was different. It was her older brother who answered, and that's when my heart dropped, my whole world had fell because I knew something bad had happened, with just his simple, "Hello."

"Luke?" He asked, his voice sounding weak and sad.

"Yeah?" I asked already putting my shoes on. "What happened to Y/N?" I asked already feeling a pang in my chest.

"Luke she's in the ER." Her brother said his voice breaking. "I found her on the bathroom floor-"

"Was she breathing?" I desperately wanted a yes, I wanted him to tell me she was fine.

"She had cuts on her wrists and they were bleeding way too much." Her brother cried. I ran out the house, my parents car keys already in hand.

"What's the hospital?" I asked turning the car on. He gave me the name and I was on my way.

I passed every red light I had got not caring if the police saw it not, not caring if I had caused an accident behind me, because all that mattered and all I cared about was that she was okay.

That she survived this, that she would wake up, because I wouldn't be able to cope if she-

Don't think about it, I talked myself out of it, but the hole in my chest wasn't healing and I was getting even more scared by the minute.

When I finally parked in the parking lot I quickly got out the car and ran into the hospital, spotting her family.

Her mother stood up when she saw me and her eyes were sad, her red and puffy.

As I neared her I noticed her little sister crying in her older brothers chest, hitting it and screaming in agony.

I turned to her dad who shook his head to his lap, tears dripping down his cheeks.

"No," I whispered.

"Luke-" I ran hallways, being yelled and stared at by nurses until I found the ER room.

I ran into it until I found her room. Nurses and a doctor surrounded her, trying to revive her, and I felt reality slap me.

"Y/N," I whispered as I put my hands on the door. Nurses pushed me away, telling me to move but nothing seemed to get my attention.

She was dead.

Y/N was dead.

I was ushered back to the waiting room and onto the chair. "He can run into the hallways like that." The nurse said to Y/N parents.

"This is a warning, next time he'll have to be kicked out for good." the nurse continued.

"It won't happen again." Her mom assured. I sat there, not caring what was happening around me.

I at there in a bubble that protected me from reality, it kept some hope on me, because she might not be dead.

They might be able to do something.

After what seemed like forever a doctor called her last name but I sat still. Y/N's next to me, just staring at her lap.

"Luke," the voice seemed distant, but I couldn't help but look up. "We can see her."

I let them go first, after all they were her family but deep down I knew I wasn't ready yet.

When it was my turn, her brother guided me, he opened the door and I stepped in slowly.

As I neared her my heart broke into pieces, falling next to my feet, and I fell onto the floor next to her bed.

She seemed so peaceful, so calm, and something she never Even showed when she was asleep, because those demons haunted her even in her dreams.

I remember how so begged, how much I cried and how badly I yelled for her to wake up.

"Wake up!" I whispered as I held her face in my hands. Her lips turning blue.

"You can't die Y/N!" I yelled not caring what the fuck people though, because right now it was me and Y/N.

Now as I sat in front of her casket I couldn't help the feeling to come back.

That feeling that seemed to consume me into a empty black hole.

I fell in love with a girl who never knew.

It hurt knowing I didn't know where she was.

Knowing if she was okay.

Knowing of she made it.

Knowing if she was alright.

Knowing if she was happy.

I would do whatever to be with her, be back next to her, back in my arms, be able to tell her how much I loved her.

It hurt like hell though.

Because I never got to tell her how madly, deeply, and truly I fell in love with you.

I finally got to my feet, my mom looking at me in wonder. "I'll be fine mom." I say hugging her tightly.

I walked out the church and to an ally met by. In frustration I through I beer bottle at the brick wall.

It shattered on the cement floor and as I stood over them my reflection shown in every piece.

As I picked one up a tear fell, "I'll be alright Y/N." I whispered, as I slumped down and let the green glass trace my skin merciless.
