druig went outside
it was pretty dark out there which made him anxious but then he saw a bright gold light near the lake.
he went there silently and saw the girl look even more beautiful than before.. if that's even possible.
moon's light reflecting on her face,
her brown skin shining making her look ethereal.
then finally he looked at the source of light which was coming from her hands a small sun like thing.
and then she looked back at him her eyes consuming him
“oh it's you” she whispered with relief.
the light dying inside her hands
“so that's your power, huh?” he said with sarcasm
“a part of it, yeah.”
“it was beautiful..”
“i know.”
“not more than you though.”
“you're so cheesy, you know that?”
she laughed looking at him.
and if he could've capture this moment right there, he would've.
the sound of her laughter, her hair falling towards her eyes.. her pushing them back, her pink lips still forming a smile while looking at the lake. he wanted this night to never end but sighed as it's not possible
she looked at him once again
“why did you come here?”
he thought about it before answering but couldn't come with a reasonable answer
“i- i just came outside for some air and saw the light”
“oh” she whispered
yeah, that makes sense.
“what are you doing here, though?” he questioned her with a concerned look
“oh just the same as you” she said while laying her head in grass and looking at the stars as he did the same. their arms touching.
“it's beautiful, isn't it?” she said finally breaking the silence still looking at the stars
“yeah it is, beautiful.” he said not looking at the stars but her.
after some time she stood up handing out her hand to him he looked up at her in confusion but stood up with the help of her hand.. touching his.
“we should head inside now.. they will be getting worried” he nodded in understanding but let out a sigh
“what's wrong?” she asked as she didn't let his sigh slip
“oh, nothing.. it's just calming out here you know?”
“yeah druig, i know” she smiled but the way she said his name made his heart jump.
