Beautiful chandeliers lit up the grand foyer, making the marble floors shine and the fancy furniture sparkle. Servants rushed around, setting up flowers and draping luxurious fabrics over everything, making the place look like a fairy tale.
In the ballroom, decorators were busy hanging up fancy fabrics and pretty lace to create a stunning backdrop. Musicians tuned their instruments, filling the air with lovely music that added to the anticipation.
The smell of delicious food drifted from the kitchen, where talented chefs were cooking up mouthwatering dishes for our guests. Tables were filled with trays of tasty treats, and glasses waited to be filled with bubbly champagne.
The entire Clorance manor is alive with excitement. It feels like everything just happened yesterday - the whole frenzy, about me, being reincarnated as this character in the novel. But here I am, preparing for my first ever debut in the social world.
