Never Again

chapter 7: i insist

"Why i am here Phi?" Ask Beam still confuse "How i came here?" He ask again.

"Come on lets eat, it's already 7 and it's time for dinner, i will tell you later" said Forth and he hold Beams hand while getting off from the bed and guiding him outside his room.

Forths room is huge, simple yet elegant.

They go downstairs passing by to the living room to his kitchen.

"It's so relaxing in here" thought Beam.

Forth guide him in the dining area where in theres a lot of food.

(Lets assume theres a lot of food in the table🤗)

Forth pull a chair and make Beam sit, then theres two maids who approach them and ready to serve the food.

"Anything you need master?" said the woman who is older for about 50 years old but still looking beautiful thought Beam.

"Nothing for now Aunt Marie, thank you" said Forth.

"Ok master if you need anything just call me in the kitchen" Forth nods and Aunt marie smiles at Beam before she take her leave.

"Ahm..Phi, this is too much for the two of us" said Beam.

"It's ok Beam, just eat more, i don't want you to get hungry, i will make you fat" tease Forth and wink then Beam blush again.

They begun to eat in silence. Still Beam is confuse why he is here at Forths house. After they finished eating, Beam stand up and begin to take all the plates then Aunt marie go inside.

"No young master, you don't have to do that, it's our responsibility" said aunt marie and take the plates from Beams hand.

"I just wanna help auntie, it's ok." Beam insisted. "And please don't call me master, i am just an ordinary guy, just an ordinary school mate of Mr. Forth, you don't have to address me as master" he said and Forth seriously stares at him and Aunt marie.

"But master, it's our duty to call you master because you are friends with master Forth." Aunt marie said "and please, give me that plates, its our job you know" he said while smiling at Beam.

"But.."

"No buts master...its our duty" she said

"Let her do her job Beam, come lets go" said Forth walking pass Auntie marie and Beam.

"Follow him son, don't worry master Forth is a good person. Trust me" she said to Beam and caress his hands lovingly as a mother.

"Ok auntie,.thank you" and he followed forth in the living area.

"Phi Forth, can you please tell me why i am here at your house?" Ask Beam when he sit in the couch  infront of Forth.

"You want ice cream?" Ask Forth

Beam shake his head."tell me Phi and i am not supposed to be here in the first place" he said and bow his head.

Forth lean his back on the couch and start talking.

"I went to your faculty to see you and talk to you, but i am not able to approach you because your two best friends are there,. I know they are mad at me. I ask Mings help to get rid of your two over protective friends." He said while chuckling.

"Stop it, they are not overprotective. They just love so much thats why they act that way" said Beam in an angry tone.

"Ok Beam, don't be angry nah" said Forth "as i was saying i want to talk to you, but when they leave i saw you lying in the bench and drifted to sleep immediately. I went to your table and sit beside you, i plan to wait you wake up, but then your phone rings.. so many rings but still you did not wake up. I answered the call and guess what, Phana fuming in anger again." He said.

"I told him that your still sleeping and i dont have the heart to wake you up, and i beg him to let me stay with you till you wake up and he agreed. But then its already 3 in the afternoon you're still sleeping so i decided to bring you here in my house to make your sleep more comfortable." He explain

"You...you..mean you carry me up to here?"

"Yes of course, and you weigh less as if i am lifting a 30 kilos sack of rice only and your too tired to even bother to wake up when i lifted you" concern can be shown in Forths face. "What if i am not there, and you sleep like a log. Probably you'd be in danger"

"Tha..thank you" Beam said still embarrased.

"So i decided to bring you here"

Beam fidgeting his fingers and blush can be seen in his face. "Phi i need to go home"

"Stay for a night Beam"

"Ahmm...i need to go to work Phi tonight" said Beam

Forth get up from his sit and stand up near the window and talk. "How much do you earn in your job Beam? " he suddenly ask.

"Huh?" Ask Beam confuse

"If i tell you to stop working in that bar and i am willing to give you what you need, will you stop?" He said while turning his face to Beam. Be gaped in what he hears.

He stand up. "Thank you, your offer is too tempting but my answer is no" he said and started walking out of the house when Forth hold his wrist.

"Beam" said Forth still holding Beams hands. Beam look straight at Forths eyes without blinking.

"I know that i am poor Phi, i am lack in every material thing but i do have my dignity. Don't try to crumple it by trying to give me offers that may loose my self esteem and dignity" he said and shove Forths hand in his wrist and immediately run to the door crying.

Forth was stunned in his place, for the second time he made Beam cry. "Fuck" he mumbles and rake his hair and followed Beam outside but Beam is nowhere to be found. He try to call him but he remembers that Beams bag is in his room. So he immediately get beams things and ride in his car towards Beams dorm.

He reach Beams dorm but Beam is not there also, he decided to go to the bar where beam is working. After 15 minutes of drive he reach the place and enters the bar. There he sees Beam, doing his work but seems lifeless. No smile in his lips and looking so dejected. He approach the guy

"Beam" and Beam look at Forth.

"What are you doing here Phi?" He ask

"Lets talk Beam"

"Can't you see P'Forth, i am working" Beam said and turn his back at Forth but Forth grab her wrist again and carry Beam in his shoulder like a sack of rice.

"What are you doing, bring me down" he said while punching Forths back.

"Were gonna talk Beam"and with that Forth walk fast at the exit. Beam keep on protesting and wailing at Forth but in no prevail, Forth did not put him down.
