chapter 3: blue hanky

Days passed since that day that Forth and his gang went to medical food court. And the news and gossip about Forth and Prae surrounds the whole university.

Beam and his two best friends are in their classroom listening to the gossip.

"You know what, this university is so amazing" Beam said cheerfully, Kit and Phana frowns.

"Huh?" Said Phana amused and Kit just look at him.

"You know...gossip here, gossip there...gossip everywhere" he said and he laughs

"Yah,yah...and do remember that youre one of the character on their gossip" said Kit and he laughs also.

"Hahahaha...i know..and i love that" said Beam

Both Phana and Kit laugh also, because they do know that Beam is not affected of all the gossip about him.

At lunch, Phana invites his two best friends to eat outside university because their first subject in the afternoon will start at 2pm. So they decided to eat on Beams favorite korean restaurant. When they already seated and ordered their food, Forth and his gang come in also and sit accross their table. And Forth look at Beam again and as usual Beam give his sweetest smile, well i mean flirtatious smile to Forth and Forth just stares at him when Lam, his best friend call his attention.

"Eerr..Forth..." he said but Forth still looking at Beam. He follows Forths eyes direction and he see that his best friend stares at Beam. He tap Forths shoulder. "Forth"

"Ohh...Wha...what?" He ask startle

"I've been calling you for how many times but your not even listening"

"Oh, i am sorry.. why?" He said and loom at Lam.

"Hmmm..and i saw you stares at them" Lam said and point his finger to the table of the three med.students "specifically at Beam" Lam's continous.

"Wh..what, of course not" he said

"Hahaha...ok, if that what you said..well then lets order" said Lam and he just shake his head. His best friend seems smitten by the charm of Beam.

They ate their lunch at silence while the three medical student are bickering with each other, they are very lively and funny specially Beam.

Forth occassionaly glares at their table and his gestures did notice by Lam.

"He is lively and cheerful" said Lam

"Huh?" Ask Forth

"Beam...his name is suitable to him, he is beaming with joyfulness" Lam said and look at Forth while his friend look at Beam. "And someone is smitten with that joyfulness" he teases Forth and Forth just smirk and throw his chopsticks to Lam.

At the medical student table. Beam is just like Forth, he occassionaly glance at the engineering student table, specially at Forth and Phana is the one who noticed him.

"Beam don't" he said

"Why Pha, he is so handsome" said Beam and Phana facepalm himself.

"I know Beammie, but Forth is too difficult for you" Phana said and look at Beam.

"Why do you say so?"

And then Kit is the one who talk this time. "Beammie, Forth is your exact opposite.. he is so reserved and doesn't mingle to anyone that not on his level" Kit said.

"And you already know what's going on between him and Prae., don't put your self into trouble" said Phana

Beam looked at his two best friends and laugh out loud and almost all of the customer look at their table. Then Kit covers his mouth and Beam bite it.

"Aisshhh..idiot" said Kit

Beam smiles and talk again "I just said he is handsome, but you scold me to death..Ma, Pa, don't worry i'm not interested in him" he said smiles To Phana and Kit and the two smacked his head together.

"Ouch...you hurt your son" Beam said while holding his head and laughs..

"Stupid"

"Idiot" Phana and Kit said to Beam and they both laugh.

Forth heard Beams laughter,. He doesn't understand but it feels that his laughters is so soothing in his ears. He loves Beams laughter and once again he look at their direction being startled when he see that Beam is already watching him and he wink. Forth immediately avert his eyes away from Beams.

Beam and his friends are the one who finish their lunch first, after they paid for their food they go directly at the door when suddenly Beam turn around and run towards Forths table, kit was too late to hold Beam he reach the table already.

"Excuse me Phi's" he said and wai to Forths gang.

"Hi Nong Beam" greeted Lam.

"Hellow Phi Lam...ahmm i just want to give something to Phi Forth" he said and look at Forth then he get something from his bag and give it to Forth. The blue handkerchief. "I just want to return it to you Phi, i always bring this just incase we bump each other again." He said and Forth get the handky. "Thank you Phi" he continous and Forth smiles at him and Lam and his other friends was too dumbfounded on what they see. Forth Jaturapoom was smiling to someone who is not even on his level.

"I'll get going Phi's" Beam said and bid his good bye to the group with a final look and smile was given to Forth. And Forth smiled back to Beam, Then Forths friend was silent,dead silent..

"Hey Forth..." said Park.

"Hummm" said Forth

"Do you like him" park ask

"What? Of course not"

"Ok..if that's what you said. But your eyes and your aura says different" Park teases him and Forth just shurg his shoulder. And after they finished their lunch they return to the university.

For the meantime on Phanas car, Kit scolded Beam again.

"What's with tha hanky huh,.Beam" Kit asked

"He let me barrowed it when i accidently pour my uniform a drink at the bar"he explained

"That's all?" Kit asked again doubtfully

"Yes Mama..that's all" he said and he got a smacked in his head for that. He does not want to tell to his friend the whole story about the blue hanky, for sure these two will got angry.

"Beam just remeber this.."said Phana "don't get yourself involved at Forth or dont go near him..please..." he begs "don't get too much trouble ok?" He continous

"Ok Pha, promise" he said. But deep within him, he wants to know Forth more. He want to find out why Phana and Kit remind him always that don't get involved at Forth or why Forth called ice prince of the university. He wants to melt that ice, of course if he will be given a chance. Because he know since high school, he has a crush on Forth but does not have the courage to approached the man, because of many reason. One of them was Forth is super rich and he know that Forth like girls not someone like him who is poor and..... gay.
