chapter 22: forget it

3 days had passed and everyday Forth visits Beam even though he stood far away from Beams room. He just sneek around whenever Beams friends will go out of the room.  Finally Beam wakes up and Forth is there at the moment, when he sees that Beam blinking his eyes and moved his fingers, Forth immediately go out of the room and call for a nurse to check Beams condition.

Beam slowly open his eyes, all he can see is a white ceiling and a beeping sound around him. He tilted his head on the left side and there he found a familiar broad back, it's Forth. He want's to call him but because of what happen to him, he cannot easily form a word, then Forth is gone and the nurse and the doctor came in. They checked Beam and few minutes Phana and Wayo arrived.

"How is he doc?" Ask Phana when the doctor came out of the room.

"Well he is fine now, he regain his strength already, for the meantime give him more liquid and softer food"

"Ok do, thank you" Phana said

"Ok, i'll leave him to you, take good care of him and the baby...and if you will have a chance...ahm, ask him what really happened to him, upon checking we saw some bite marks all over his body and a laceration on his entrance" said Doctor "it seems that he got abused...or should i say..he was raped, luckily it did nit give any harm on the child." She continues

Wayo can't speak at the moment,he was beyond shocked and Phana gritted his teeth in anger.

Phana just nods. "Ok doc, thank you so much"

"Ok. I will leave then" the doctor said. Phana and Wayo composed themselves before entering. Wayo wiped his tears,.he feel pity to his Phi Beam but he doesn't want to show it to him"

Few meters from Beams room is where Forth standing, he heard all of it. And he was so damn angry on his self because he is the one who did it to Beam. And if Beam will report him to police he will gladly let his self to prison.

It's been two days since Beam wake up, but the doctor said he needs to stay for few more days for him to completely heal. His friends take good care of him, pamper him and give him all he needed. He is lucky to have them, he and his baby is so lucky.

One afternoon when they visited Beam. Phana breaks the ice.

"Ahm Beam, i need to ask you something"said Phana, Kit, Ming and Wayo are silent and just stares at the two of them.

"What is it Pha?" Ask Beam

"Beam...what really happened to you last sunday night?" Ask Phana and Beam fell silent, he just vow his head. "Beam" Phana continues and hold Beams hands.

Beam slowly lifted his head with tears in his eyes and he said, "Pha, i..i..don't want to talk about it anymore.. all that matters to me now is that me and my baby were safe" he said

"But Beam...." said Phana but he immediately cuts by Beam.

"Please Pha, i want to move on from that painful past of mine, i am so glad that i have all of you, i am so grateful that you were always there for me, and it's enough for me knowing that whatever happens to me, i have friends who i can rely on." He said and Phana understands that Beam don't want to talk about it anymore and he will respect that. They both cried.

"Oi,.that's enough Phis..lets just eat, baby Wayo is hungry" said Wayo and they all looked at wayo.

"What?" They both said in unison and Wayo blushed hard.

"Baby Wayo?" Said Beam

Wayo nods and Phana stands uo and hug Wayo. "Yes Beamie..baby Wayo. I am going to be a father also..he is one month pregnant."

"Wh...what?" Said Ming and he dropped his pizza and Kit laughs at his boyfriends reaction.

"Babe...relax.." said Kit and close Mings mouth.

"We just found out two days ago when Wayo fainted at the hospital lobby, then he got checked and there..he is positive, he is pregnant too" said Phana proudly.

"Wow,.congrats to the both of you" said Beam.

"Thank you Phi"said Wayo. "But we have a big problem though..we haven't told to Mom and Dad"

"Well for sure aunty and uncle will understand, don't you forget, Phana is their favorite son in law, right?" Said Beam and they all laugh.

Ming hug Kit. "What mingkwan?" Hisses Kit

"Ahm babe, Wayo and Phi Beam will have their baby, what about us?" Said Ming with a  twinkling eyes but Kit smacked his head.

"Are you crazy, finish first your study and gain more money, and buy me a two storey house.. when you did that,there i will gove you dozen of kids" Ming pouted and loosen his embrace to Kit.

"Ow,.the baby is sulking."teases Wayo

And they laugh. But ming try to stand up and gesture to leave the room but Kit immediately hold his wrist. "Ow come on babe, i was just joking.. if you want we can start to make our own later" said Kit and then Ming brings back to life, he smile widely.

"Really babe? Come, lets go home let start to make a basketball team" and then Kit smacked him again.

"Stupid" said Kit and they all laugh.

But then a knocked heard from the outside.

"Come in" said Ming. There, Phi mike enters.

"Swadee kah" he waid to all of them and they waid back.

"Swadee nong Beam" he said to Beam

"Phi mike, what brought you here?" Ask Beam

He handed him a basket of fruits and bouquet of flower. "This is for you nong."

"Ow Phi you don't have to, but thank you"

"Ahm it's from Mrs.Jaturapoom, he instructed me to bring it to you and tell you that they will visit you later, they were at the meeting by now" said Phi mike.

"Ahm Phi Mike, please tell to Mrs. Jaturapoom that she don't need to visit me, tell her that i am ok now" said Beam.

"Sorry Nong but you know that i can't do that, Mrs. Jaturapoom misses you so much, just let her visits you nah"

Beam and his friend did not talk. "Ok Nong, i need to go. I will fetch them at 4 oclock. Bye nong"

"Bye Phi mike, thank you" said Beam and Phi mike just smiles at him and leave the room.

"What is it this time?" Ask Phana

"Haven't they know that you and Forth was already separated?" Said Kit

Beam did not answer and just shrugg his shoulder.

After lunch his friends bid their goodbye to Beam, because they all have their class at 2oclock and they will be back at the evening.
