Chapter 22

I slip out of the warm bed where Daniel lays and walk into the bathroom to take a hot bath before calling my dad to talk about the wedding.

Looking in the mirror I can see my now round belly and can't help but hold it softly. The thought of carrying Daniels baby is something I can't help but smile about. I can see him holding our baby and being the most amazing father like he is with Lilian and I love the thought of us as a family.

I step into the warm water sinking into it completely. I rub the shampoo deep into my scalp massaging it gently and slip into the water rubbing it out completely then go up for air afterwards. Just as the cold air hits my face once more I see a figure standing near me.

I scream slightly then rub my eyes looking once again.

"Daniel! You scared the shit out of me!" I say not hiding my fear at all

"I'm sorry baby, I just...you weren't next to me and I got worried" I smile as he lets the truth slip like a child would.

"Can I join?" He asks in a soft whisper

"Y-Yes" I say watching his every move

He slips out of his clothes and pushes me forward slightly slipping in from behind me then pulling me into his chest.

"Hand me the sponge please babe" he says and I obey his command handing him the sponge and watch as he squirts the white soap onto it cleaning my body.

He rubs it along every curve, watching me as I lean into his touch. He stops after he's done and I return the favor and was him like he did me. I rub down his chest, paying close attention to his now very hard length and smile.

I reach for the hose washing our body's off of the soap and shampoo left behind from earlier and Daniel hands me a freshly dried towel handing on the towel rack.

I kiss his full lips and he deepens the kiss sloping his tongue into my mouth rubbing against mine in perfect synchronization.

I push him away running into the walk in closet and oh a pair of yoga pants on, a nice airy top and some sandals. I step out letting the air form the steamy bathroom engulf me and walk into the room where the mirror is placed. I straighten my hair completely, applying a tiny amount of make up then step back examining myself. Once I am content with my appearance I walk to the bed where Daniel lays still in his wet towel.

He smiles at me standing up, the towel slips from his waist and he says

"Oops" with a slight grin plastered on his face

"I um, have to go see my dad today. I want him to go find the perfect dress with me" I say biting my lip

"Okay, but if you do that again Hope you won't be leaving this room for a few hours"
He says using his thumb to trace my bottom lip I was once biting on

"Okay" I say smiling

"I'll see you later babe, and baby" he says rubbing my belly

I smile and kiss him once more walking from the room down stairs to my car.

I turn on the ignition and plug my iPhone into the car radio blasting a playlist off of Spotify.

I smile once more then reverse onto the paved road.

I drive down the windy roads listening to the sweet music. I can smell the fresh air surrounding my car and I get lost in the emotion surrounding me.

I see a stoplight ahead and begin to slow down, I see the row of cars ahead and wait patiently as we move one by one through the now green light. I push the gas and move forward to cross the road and when I look to my right, lights invade my vision and I am slammed across the road with a powerful force of a white Dodge Ram.
