Chapter 14

"Dani! She's waking up!" I could hear Lilian say

I felt a warm hand slide against mine and instantly I knew it was Daniel.

My closed eyes began to open slowly and I took in my surroundings.

Daniel was sitting in a chair next to our bed cradling my hand while Lilian was sitting on the bed right next to my side.

I breathed in deeply to find a dry rough throat which made it hard for me to talk.

"Hey" I said roughly

"Hey princess, Lilian's been worried about you" he said sliding Lilian into his lap

"I miss you hope" she said giving my a wet kiss on my fore head

I smiles in delight then took her in my arms for a long hug. Boy do I love this little girl.

"Now, now Lilian Daddy needs some time with hope. Go play with Dorthy"

"Okay!" She said running her little legs to the door

"I missed you so much" Daniel said kissing me passionately.

Mmm," I didn't mean to stay asleep that long"

"You needed your rest princess, Lilian thought you were upset"

"How long was I out for exactly?"

"Not as long as Lilian makes it sound. You've probably been a sleep for a day, but that's just because your body was coping with the pain"

"Oh" I said with a crack in my voice

"Here you go princess" he said handing me a glass of water

"Thank you Daniel" I said slurping it down quickly.

I finished the last drop of water then suddenly felt my wolf begin to appear.

"Can we go for a run, my wolf and I need to stretch"

"If you're sure, then yes"

"Okay" I said slipping the covers from my body and rolling out of bed

I looked down at my body to find a soft pink night gown. I smiled at Daniel then picked out a simple outfit to wear after our run.

I chose a flower romper with my sandals. I tucked them into my arm then walked outside into the forest with Daniel at my side.

"Hold on" I said moving behind a tree slipping away ever item of clothing I wore

I let my wolf out and slowly walked back towards Daniels wolf.

We ran for hours upon hours letting our wolfs do what they had been wanting to do for so long.

After a while, we formed into our human forms and changed into the cloths we had.

I walked around to find Daniel but, he wasn't where I left him.

"Daniel??" I yelled

"This way!" He yelled back

I walked towards his voice then found paper arrows leading a trail. I followed them cautiously letting butterfly's form in the pit of my stomach.

After a few more steps I walked into an open field of dandelions.

I moved towards the center turning sound in circles smiling. After one last turn I saw Daniel standing in front of me in his usual sexy outfit. I but my bottom lip wanting to kiss him then he did something I never saw coming.

He took a step back, pulling an unopened box from his front pocket then stepped down on one knee.

"Hope Swearingen, I've waited for what feels like a millennium to have you here with me...and now that you are I don't want to ever let you go. I can't promise this will be easy but with you, I couldn't expect anything less. Will you do my the honor in marrying me?"

I let a tear slip my eyes, then took a deep breath and slowly said "yes"
