Katsuki woke up from his dream in a cold sweat and tears running down his cheeks. He gently touched the back of his head, still feeling those claws scrape against his mind. Outside, there were quick footsteps that got louder and louder. They were too fast for Katsuki to react before Shoto kicked down the door and got in his fighting position.

Katsuki's eye's widened and he scooted far away, pushing his back against the bed board. Shoto's large sword was in his hands, gleaming in the light outside the door.

"Where is he," Shoto yelled in a strict tone and went into Katsuki closet, taking out all the clothes. He continued to look through everything and making a huge mess in Katsuki's room. Katsuki was frozen in fear. Mostly shock since Shoto came so suddenly. But Katsuki has never seen Shoto act this way before. Acting like a general of a large army or the greatest warrior that everyone feared. Katsuki never saw that side of him before, until now.

Shoto continued to look through everything. Workers came to the door, watching by the doorway with horror in their eyes. Katsuki still didn't dare to move a single bit. Shoto didn't even realize he had scared Katsuki and woke up the entire house. His mind was almost being controlled by rage. He felt the powerful presence here yet once he came, it was gone. In anger, he began to break everything, he knew it was a bad choice but he couldn't help it.

Shoto stopped after a while, his hand aching with soreness and out of breath. His pants filled the room and he turned to the blonde who looked like a child seeing death for the first time. It struck Shoto like lightening realizing what he did. He dropped the sword and slowly walked to Katsuki, not wanting to scare him as much as he already did.

"Hey, katsuki. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you," Shoto whispered, talking like he was speaking to a harmed animal. Katsuki looked at the workers and back at Shoto. His cheeks were wet from tears and he could still taste the saltiness of his tears falling into his mouth. He didn't want to look weak or frail in front of the others. That would just prove their point of why he should stay in the house and never go out.

Forcefully, he used all his will to get off the bed and stand straight as he faced Shoto, looking at him in the eyes. Katsuki was softly shaking but tried to keep it well hidden.

Shoto felt a wave of relief, seeing that he wasn't scared of him. Shoto let his hand out to katsuki. Katsuki looked down at his hand. His survival instincts were screaming at him to not take his hand and just go to bed. Better yet, stay far away from him. But just like before, Katsuki's stubbornness won and katsuki took his soft, warm hand. Shoto pulled him into a hug and held me close. Katsuki jumped in surprise from the embrace. He felt Shoto's warm body against his own as they hugged.

Katsuki felt that horrible feeling once again that he shouldn't do this. But for Shoto's sake, he ignored the feeling and continued to hug him. The workers quietly began to whisper to one another as they watched the two of them. Katsuki wasn't sure why they were whispering, maybe talking about Shoto just now or the gossip of them hugging. But workers know all in the manor, it's just their decision if they want to say something or keep themselves and others safe by staying quiet. Just a single rumor or a bad truth could ruin everything and involve the other workers into the situation. Some of them get punished for not saying anything or saying something, that's why it was best to just stay quiet.

Katsuki started to feel slightly uncomfortable from how long the hug was. He pulled away and looked at Shoto. Shoto kept his eyes on katsuki, in a guarding manor. Katsuki noticed it but didn't say anything. He looked at the workers and Shoto and realized they were all staring him. Waiting for what he was going to do next. Katsuki let out a soft sigh and looked at them.

"Well, there's nothing here. How about we all get some rest and clean this tomorrow," he said with a forceful smile. He felt like it wasn't the first time he faked a smile.
