It's been almost forty eight hours since I've last seen Sorin. It's currently Tuesday after school, and to be honest I'm feeling a little worried. I've called Charli and she's not picked up once, everybody keeps asking me where he is and it's infuriating me.
Apparently, I'm known by most people on campus for following Sorin. I'm studying Biology with Sadie and Jiwon, Jiwon is sat on the floor with all her papers covering almost every inch of carpet and me and Sadie are sitting on my bed.
"So... what are you going to do about Sorin? You like him, right? What if he likes you and-" Sadie begins and I place the cap onto my own pen, placing it down beside me.
"Even if there was a chance to start a relationship with him, although I highly doubt that, I need to take time to myself. I need to be in a stable time in my life, before I start looking for a relationship." I told Jiwon and Sadie about what happened, about me and Sorin having sex -leaving out who Mason is and that he was even there. To them he doesn't even exists.
I don't want to talk about my past, it doesn't define and it shouldn't. I only told Sorin because I felt like I had to, what would you do if you were breaking down in front of your 'friends' sisters boyfriend? You can't lie yourself out of that.
Jiwon raises an eyebrow at me, looking up from her extremely large mind map. "Are you scared about Sorin?" She asks to both me and Sadie. I won't lie, I've been up most of the nights staring at the door expecting to see a half-dead Sorin walk through. Me and Sadie both shrug in sync.
There's a pause before she begins talking again. "Considering, that he almost joined the Mafia. I've grew up with him, I know what shit he's got himself during his past. All that could easily catch up to him and-" She stops talking, her view turning towards the floor once more.
"He's going to fine. Have you seen his muscles because oh my g-" Me and Jiwon both look up at Sadie, and she bites down on her bottom lip.
"If he's worthy enough to almost join a Mafia, he'll be able to fend of a couple guys. He's probably seeing Harry Styles in concert." I speak trying to replenish everybody's hope, they lightly chuckle at my joke before turning back to look at their work and the entire room is silent again.
"I'm meeting my Mom for Dinner, so I should probably leave." Jiwon begins to gather up all of her paper work "I'll meet you at the canteen for Breakfast, Yes?" She asks, me and Sadie both hum the room is eerily silent. I'm so worried about Sorin, all I need is Charli to call back and I'll go back to sleeping perfectly.
I can see Jiwon ever so subtly shaking, as her hands reaches over to grip the door knob but suddenly the door bursts open and there he is. An undead Sorin. He's so pale, blood is running down his cheeks and arm and seeing him makes me want to throw up once again.
"Sorin." Jiwon whispers almost to herself, her eyes widen as Sorin stumbles over to his bed waking into the shelves and knocking every book over.
I can feel Jiwon and Sadie staring at me, and every word in the dictionary leaves my head. I try to open my mouth but nothing comes up and I rush over to Sorin and i'm truly confused. I don't know what to do, and everybody is expecting me to do something.
Sorin's eyes are so dull, and he's staring down at the ground with his head in his hands. "I don't want them here." He speaks coldly, I turn around to face the girls and smile at them sympathetically they both nod slowly and Sadie gathers up her small amount of work.
"Call me later." Sadie mouths, I nod up and down as they both leave. Leaving just me and Sorin in the room.
"Lift your arms up." I instruct, he takes a deep breath lifting up his arms and I slowly remove his T-shirt and I cringe at the gashes on his torso. "What happened?" I ask softly grabbing ahold of the white towel, and use a plastic bottle to pour water onto it.
