This is the best I felt in long time.
Me and shortcake chilling in the back of the van with our double stacked bacon cheeseburgers, chilli fries and milkshakes. Eating together feels nice, like a little date.
"Shortcake... Your fries are gonna get cold." I said to him because I caught him staring at ma for the tenth time since we got our food
Ma ordered two chicken sandwiches with spicy mayo and pickles, onion rings, an order of fried pickle slices and a large watermelon slushie. I guess he was extra hungry cuz he took a bite out of King's burger then went back through the drive thru to order one for himself.... With extra bacon.
"Mom's eating pickles..." King said more to himself than me "He hates pickles🤔"
I just shrugged and kept eating my food. I was trying to tell my baby he was gonna be a sibling on the low, but ma told me to shut my skinny ass up.
