"Mom?"

"Hmmm?"

"Mom wake up"

"Hmm... I'm up" I mumbled before I started snoring again.

"Mom it's important! Wake up please!"

Suddenly I felt hands on me shaking me awake😒 Its too damn early for this. Knowing my baby he probably had a nightmare, so I flipped the covers open and slid to the other side of the bed. My baby jumped right in the bed just as I expected!

How well do I know Kingley Jaheim Oracle Parker?🤔 I'm glad you asked😌. Whenever my son gets nightmares, he jumps in my bed.
Let's go down the list of actions:

First he snuggles up REAL close to me. Check ✔

Now I got to lift my arm so he can lay his head on my chest. He does that so he can listen to my heart beat. Check ✔

Now that he's wrapped up in my arms like a baby, his hand will slide down my tummy until he finds... My c-section scar. Check ✔

I sleep topless majority of the time, wearing only basketball shorts. It used to nothing at ALL but I had to quit that when my baby started walking on his own, cuz I knew he would be jumping in the bed with me. As much as I complain about it though, I secretly love when he gets like this. I know that he still trusts and depends on his mommy. I want him to need me and come to me for a lifetime.

"Why you didn't sleep under your blanket last night?" I asked him as I kissed his cold head and started playing in his hair. His whole body was icy cold against my skin.

"I wasn't cold..." He spoke softly as he tried to get even closer to me than he already was.

"Did you have a bad dream?"

"No.."

"Are you homesick?"

"N...nooo?" Bingo! My baby is in unfamiliar territory. It's messing with him and that's why he's up under me now. I know we're at my momma house, and he knows his grandma very well, but he's never been in her house. Yes he was eager to come here yesterday, getting him to go to new places is NOT a problem. The big issue is getting him to STAY there.

I remember taking him to his friends house for sleepovers back when we lived in Maryland. King would wait until everyone was asleep at the party, then the next thing I hear is my son blowing up me and Dexter's phones with texts and calls. "Mom COME GET ME" "Dad COME GET ME"  Do you know that boy will call and nag us all night until we pick him up? I remember when we had him stay with his stupid ass God father Quan so we can have a romantic getaway. We ended up cutting our trip short😒.

I even asked why he was like this. Kingley's answer: "I want to be home where I can break wind and make boo boo without judgement"
You read that right WattPad, my son can't make boo boo anywhere else but at home. That includes school, restaraunts, the doctor office, anywhere.
