"Are you wearing that?"

"Yes mom......"

.............

.............

"Okay then" I shrugged

"God..." My baby groaned, clearly tired of my bullshit.🤣 "What's wrong now?"

"Baby don't use the Lord's name in vain like that! It's Sunday."

My momma came in from her room. She was wearing a yellow sundress and blue earrings with gold necklace. She was also wearing some sensible wedge heels with gold straps.

"Grandma what's wrong with my clothes?" Kingley asked her as he spun around.

"Nothing baby, you look wonderful!" Kathy winked after surveying Kingley's attire which consisted of red and white Adidas track pants with a white v neck and his new gold chain and Mickey watch.

"Mom don't like it" Kingley ratted

"I did not say I didn't like it!"😑

"Ain't nothing wrong with it. He dressed like a young boy" my momma defended.

"I just want him to look good for Ms. Glynda."

"Glynda ain't worried about that, she trying to eat."

"Do she know?" I asked her while pointing my eyes at King.

"Um... NO."

"What?!" I asked incredulously. I can't believe her right now! Glynda gone see who this child look like and I'm not ready to explain this!🤦

"Did you pack the sodas?" She asked like shit wasn't going on

"I'm stopping by Food Lion on the way."

"Good I can at least get a side or two. I don't like going to folk house empty handed..... Are you wearing that?" She said looking me up and down.

"Yes" I responded, looking down at my black floral button down with black ripped jeans

She stared at me for a moment before saying "okay"

Heffa....

"Alright is everyone dressed?... Make sure you got your phones and chargers!" Momma said while grabbing her purse, "We ain't coming back till after dinner. Kingley go pee."

"Well dang momma! Just completely take my job."

"Well I've been doing longer than you have. It's called experience."

"Kathy Parker, leave me alone woman!" I fussed jokingly

To which she responded "NO"

"Mom!" Kingley yelled out from the bathroom
