Chapter 35 'Don't cry Princess'

I cross my arms and glare at him.

They both stop laughing "Did I do something wrong? " he questions.

I laughed "Did you do something wrong? Have you already forgotten!!" I yell.

He gives me a sad look and sighs "I'm sorry"

I look away and brush my hand trough my hair.

"Peeta... you can't do that.. You can't just break someone's heart and come back after months and expect them to take you back with a snap of your fingers! " I yell but in a calm way , I don't know if that makes sense..

"Kat...look-"

"For you it's Katniss!" I snap.

"Listen-" he tries again.

"Just leave me alone Peeta , I don't want to deal with you now" I say with tears filling my eyes.

I turn away and run up the stairs , trowing my phone on my bed.

I let my knees sink to the floor as I put my hands in my face ...

It was all well , my life was all well , until Delly showed up...

Now it's a hellhone , I even remember when I realised I loved Peeta and now I realize I can't be with him , never again , I just can't...

A sob escapes my mouth and I let the tears roll.

My dad said always That what's life is about , people come and go and he was obviously right.

That night I couldn't sleep , I kept trashing around and crying.

One year Later..

"The Krusty Crab pizza , is the pizza for you and for me "I sing making Finnick outside the door bang his head against the wall .

I keep changing my voice and make it low.

"The Krusty cray-ay-ay-ay-ab pizza is the pizzza for you and-"I pause take a deep breathe and yell "ME-YE-YE-YE-YEEEEEEEEE"

"Katniss , you're freaking annoying , please shut up ! " yells Finnick.

"Don't yell at me , I'm sensitive! "I scream back grinning inwardly when he punches the wall.

I think for another childish song to concentrate on something else then Peeta..

"I wanna be the very best , like no one ever was "I begin.

"To catch them is my real test , to train them is my cause"I keep on singing.

"I will travel across the land , searching far and wide."

"Each Pokémon to understand , the power that' s inside! " I sing leading up to the main chorus.

"Pokémon! Gotta catch 'em all! , It's you and me! I know our destiny! "

I hear Finnick groaning so I sing louder.

"Pokémon! You're my best friend in the world, we must defend! Pokémon! "

"A heart so true, our courage will pull us trough"I sing dancing along to the music on my bed.

"Oh godd help me , now she's dancing too.."I hear Finnick plead.

"You teach me and I'll teach you "I sing again leading up to the big notes.

"POKÉMON! GOTTA CATH 'EM ALL! GOTTA CATCH 'EM AAAAAALLLLLLL ! " I sing the last few notes.

"Thank god" says Finnick.

I laugh , yeah now I'm like a crazy woman ...

Oh no...

I sit back down and plug my earbuds in my phone , pressing shuffle.

Say something from Christina Arguilera and Great Big World is playing .

The tears start to fall.

The song brings so much memories back , ughh I -

I still can't get Peeta out of my head , after our last conversation I haven't heard from him , Oh godd I miss him so much...

My phone begins ringing , I don't bother to look at the caller ID.

"Hello? "I say my voice thick from the tears.

"Don't cry princess"

I gasp . "I've missed you so much" it doesn't stop the tears from flowing continuingly.

"I realised..."he begins.

"That there's no way in hell I'm letting you go without a fight"

I stand here in shock for about a minute before bursting out.

My bedroom window is open and don't even ask who's standing there ,

Peeta Mellark..

I run up to him and hug him tight , not planning to let him go.

"I freaking love you so much.."
