Rachel's P.O.V

The lights blinded me. I couldn't feel anything. I turned my head too quickly to instantly be greeted with a surge of pain running through my body. I groaned

"Oh, honey don't do that." A cheery voice called out

I tried to move my body but I was numb and it seemed like my body had stiffened and locked up. I hated this feeling.

"Where's my dad?" I asked

"What do you remember?" She returned avoiding my question

"My dad picking me up and then we flipped." I answered

"Stand up please." She commanded

"Uh...ok." I obeyed

"Do you feel dizzy,is your vision hazy?" She continued to ponder

"I feel dizzy and everything hurts." I fell back and laid back down

"Well you seem to be fine except your torso isn't in the best shape we want it to be." She informed me

"What happened to it?" I sat back up

"Calm down honey," she assured me"you'll be fine. It's just fractured in a few places and your muscles are tense," she said " when you guys collided with the other car some shards of glass stuck into you and made you loose about a quart of blood."

"Goodness." I whispered

"And to answer you previous question, the driver drove into your father's side. This caused your father to become...," she paused and swallowed "what you would say crushed from the waist down. We had to quickly rush him to surgery and amputate his left leg. But it seemed that your father didn't respond to the medicine we gave him and he slipped under into a coma. We don't know when or if he will wake up, he's on life support." She told me in a rush

I was taken back in shock that I didn't know I had started crying and screaming like a child. I was having a catastrophic tantrum that it caused my heart rate to go up rapidly and the nurses didn't want that to happen at all.

"Pleas,please calm down." The nurse pleaded

I just closed my eyes and started to buck and scream even more. What was wrong with me. I felt a sharp pain in my arm and then I went back to sleep.
