All Grown Up

The Hood's- Lucas (16), Harmony (16), and Andrew (16). Cal & Shay had them at 18, which now makes them 34.

The Hemmings'- Cody(16) Luke and Spencer had him at the age of 19. Nicole (13) and Kristy (13). Luke had them when he was 21, which now makes him 34.

The Clifford's- Hayley (16), and Christopher (16). Mike and Kimberley had them at 19 and later on had Jacob (13) at the age of 22. This means he is now 35.

The Irwin's- Layla (16) was handed over to Ashton as an infant when one of his ex's died while giving birth to her at the age of 20. Daniel (14) and Chloe(14). Ash and his girlfriend Emily had them at the age of 22 which means he is currently 36.

For the next two hours, we all hangout at the table just talking. Which I enjoyed very much. It was nice because, we just talked about the past and what we would've been doing if the boys had never met. None of us ever imagined that any of this would happen.

But, the most important thing is that we got through it. All together as one, big, happy family. All of our experiences have brought us closer together and I think that's an amazing thing.

Harmony's POV

"Why must we do this, every. Single. Year?" Lucas groans, as we get together for a group photo.

"Lucas, shut up and deal with it." Our dad tells him, earning a laugh from the rest of the adults. It was that lovely time of the year where, some parents cried while other parents, like ours, cheered for joy. Yes, that's right. The first day of school.

We all get close together. The oldest in the back so it went; Lucas, me, Andrew, Christopher, Layla, Cody, and Hayley. Then in front, Nicole, Jacob, Daniel, Chloe, and Kristy.

"The Irwin's are finally coming over to the dark side!" Andrew cheers. Chloe just rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest. On the other hand, Daniel steps up to us and high fives each of us.

"Ugh, this sucks! Everyone else is in High School while we're still stuck in Middle School." Nicole complains.

"Sweetie, that's a good thing. At least for us it is." Luke smiles, patting his daughter's back.

"I don't mind it." Kristy shrugs, "I'm not ready for High School anyway."

"Besides," Jacob starts, "I'm still in Middle School." He finishes, beginning to wriggle his eyebrows. As Jacob continued to do this, he inched closer and closer to Nicole.

He loves Nicole. We all know it. The problem is, he just won't admit it.

"Harmony! Layla! Now we get to have Chloe in our yearly selfies!" Hayley cheers as she pulls me and Layla over for a quick picture. We did this every year. We post it on twitter or Instagram, and caption it with something stupid.

The four of us get close together and Hayley holds her phone out in front of us. She clicks the button a few times and begins to look for the one we all like. We quickly find one and Hayley posts it with the caption saying,

"@Hayley_Cliffordd: @ChloeIrwinn @DannyIrwinny

Only seconds later, we're all notified of Hayley's tweet and just as someone was about to say something, the familiar rumble started echoing down the street.

I run up to my mum and squeeze her in a hug. "Bye mum, I love you."

"Love you too Harmony, good luck." She smiles as we leave each other's arms. I walk over to my dad and give him a big hug as well.
