-1 Week Later-
Harmony's POV
My desk light shined down on my Maths textbook as 10pm rolled around. Music played in the background as my brain continued to struggle on the algebra equation.
Just as I'm about to give up, my uncle Luke walks in. "Hey sweetie, I heard you're having some trouble with your homework." He chuckles.
"Uh, yeah, algebra is really hard." I chuckle along. I get off my chair and allow my uncle to sit down to take a look at the problem.
"Har, this is easy. You learned this last year. It's just a review." He chuckles.
"Really? I don't recognize it at all." I shrug, "I'll just ask Cody if I could copy his. I don't understand this, at all."
"Oh c'mon Harmony. Can you at least try it?" My uncle whines, nudging my arm.
"Hmmm, how about, no." I smirk.
He gives me a look and sighs, "Fine, go ask Cody."
"Thanks anyway, Uncle Lukey poo." I smile, chuckling at the new nickname.
"Really? Lukey poo? That's what your father used to call me. There's no need to start that up again." He chuckles.
"Oh well, it's starting again."
He sighs, "It makes sense. You are your father's daughter."
I give him a cheeky smile and make my way out of my room, my uncle following behind.
I walk down the two flights of stairs and make it to the bottom. "Cody Ray Hemmings!!" I call out.
"What do you want?" He groans, walking out of the kitchen with a bowl of cereal.
"You're smart, right?"
"Well if you call straight A's smart, then yes. Very." He answers, spooning Cheerios into his mouth.
I roll my eyes. He gets that from his father. The smartness, that is. Scratch that, he gets everything from his father.
"Can I copy your algebra homework?"
"Yeah, if you give me the history." He smiles.
I groan, "Fine. Where's your bag?"
"In my room."
"Cody! We're at my house." I whine.
"Sucks for you. I guess you'll just have to walk to my house and get it." He smiles.
"You're such an ass, Cody." I sigh.
"Awe, thanks cuz."
I roll my eyes and throw my shoes on. "Dad!" I yell.
"Hey, hey, hey, no need to yell. I'm right here." He chuckles.
"Right, sorry. I'm just gonna run over to uncle Luke's real fast." I tell him.
"Okay, be quick, you have to go to bed soon." He replies. I nod my head and make my way over to my uncle's house.
The walk is only a block so, it only takes me about five minutes. I walk up the little path and knock on the door. I smile when I'm greeted by my aunt Spencer. "Harmony, what's up love?"
"Oh not much, can I just run up to Cody's room real quick? I need his maths homework."I chuckle.
"Yeah, sure. You know where it is." She smiles and allows me into the house. I walk the small flight of stairs to find my cousin Kristy walking out of her room.
