"You are all confined to your quarters" Vex told the three of you, wasting no time in trying to write your wrongs.

"Confined?" Krel asked "I thought we were fleeing a dictatorship"

"A dictatorship is what you deserve, how is destroying a planetarium less conspicuous that torture."

"Vex" You warned from your spot on the couch which you had collapsed in when you entered the comforting space knowing that the dreadful day would come to an end now that there are no more catastrophes taking place.

That was until vex had sprung a dictatorship over you. Oh well at least you would still be in the comfort of your room.

Vex turned on the talking box once more and if you didn't know any better you would say that he was slowly becoming addicted to the thing. "I demanded thumbs" he resumed yelling at the TV.

"Can we please focus on the problem, krel heard the thoughts of an interplanetary life" Vex maneuvered around her when she started to block his view.

You can't deal with this right now. You can feel the searing pain in your abdomen from the fall.Trying to make a move of any sort will result in the pain rising to the point of unbearability and would end in having you grinding your teeth in an futile attempt to rid yourself of the pain. To avoid any skepticism from your fellow housemates you are situated as still as you could and hoping that their attention stays off of you.

"You will remain aboard the mothership for your own protection" He was sticking to the whole dad role despite the siblings complaints.

You hear Aja complain "This sucks"

"You could say that again" You mumbled to yourself forgetful of the fact that you were also supposed to be heading to your room.

"The talking box taught Varvatos a human term as well "You are grounded" Varvatos thought it meant burying someone alive, disappointing"

Silence follows. You assumed that Vex had forgotten about you

"You are hurt"

The charade is up now "How did you know?" You asked as you threw your legs over the arm of the couch onto the floor to sit upward. You let out a pained hiss the moment you felt the sting in your side remerged.

"You are not very subtle little one, Varvatos used to do the same thing to hide his wounds from Lieutenant Zadra, are you trying to hide?"

"Of course, I am" you say it as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. You knew that he would ask follow up questions but you learned that you aren't the best liar in the galaxy.

"From Krel?" There it goes.

You leaned back onto the headrest of the couch letting out a breath that you didn't know you were holding. You never hide anything from Krel even if it is the smallest issue. But more problems are starting to pile up onto your current situation and Krel needs to bring his A game if he is going to be fixing up the ship.

"I just don't want to worry him, he already has enough on his plate" You slowly let your eyes droop closed. The fatigue you feel from what had transpired that day consumes you.

Vex could sense you drifting off and decided to take it upon himself to carry you to your quarters so you could sleep properly.

He could already hear your soft snores from where you are held in his arms. It made him wonder what had truly happened today if you fell asleep without so much as finishing up your conversation.

He knew you couldn't hear him in your sleep filled haze, nevertheless he told you what was on his mind "He would be more upset if you kept this from him, You know he loves you right?" He carefully placed you on your bed trying not to disturb your slumber.
