Last Leaf (not to be confused with the famous author, O. Henry's short, The Last Leaf), is a short story that is loosely based on the events that led to the conclusion of World War II. Based in Japan, this story, though historical, is a work of fiction. Names, characters, events, places, and incidents are the children of the authors' imagination.

Any parallelism or likeness to an actual person, dead or alive, is strictly coincidental. This literary piece has been construed with great respect towards the characters borne from the author's creative mind.
