The Secret I Must Keep (Demon Tanjiro)

Chapter 2 Problem

Tanjiro pov~~

"Tanjiro wake up please you have to protect your sister. You must be in so much pain trying to hold back your hunger but I need you to wake up please. Protect Nezuko."

"*gasp* Mhmp" I woke up with tears streaming down my face.
'What's in my mouth?'

"Your awake."

I took the bamboo muzzle out of my mouth. "What did you do to my sister!"

"Don't worry she's just asleep. Get to Mt. Sagiri. Look for a man named Sakonji Urokodaki. When you find him tell him that Giyuu Tomioka sent you. It's cloudy at the moment but don't let yourselves be exposed to sunlight. I am still not sure what you are but don't take any chances."

With that the man left. Me and Nezuko walked back to our house and barried our families bodies.

"Come on Nezuko." I put the muzzle back on my mouth and we started to walk in the direction of Mount Sagiri.

Time skip~~~

It was almost morning so me and Nezuko took shelter in a cave. It was odd. Unlike her I had no fear of the sunlight.

"Nezuko. I'm going to try and go out."
She grabbed onto my sleeve. I could see in her eyes that she did not want me to go.

"I'll be fine" I smiled at her and then she let go. Retreating back to her hole.

'Okay Tanjiro you can do this.'

3rd pov~~~

Tanjiro put his hand out slowly making it out in the sunlight. It burned him and he pulled away.

"Gah!"

'Why did I think that would work gosh this hurts.'

'One more time'

Tanjiro tried one more time. He put his hand out and though it burned at first soon enough he could feel the warmth of the sunlight.

"Oh wow."

He turned around. "Bye Nezuko I'll be back you stay right there."

He was now fully out I'm the sun.

Tanjro started walking and he found a man.

"Hello I was wondering if u could use your basket."

"Oh sure if you need I'm not really using it anyway."

"Thank you. Here." Tanjiro took out some coins and put them in the man's hand.

"There's really no need."

"I insist."

"Okay kid"

"Bye sir thank you again."

He made his way back to his sister. And he reinforced the basket to make sure that the sun would not get through.

"Can you fit in here. Do what you did before but instead get smaller."

"Mhmm"

Tanjiros pov~~~

'Oh it worked she got smaller.'

"Sorry about this Nezuko. Now that know I can walk in the sun we can move in the daytime two. It'll be quicker."

Later~~

I let Nezuko walk since it was dark outside. We came across a house.

'Blood'

My eyes had slits in them and I could feel fangs in my mouth. I put the bamboo up since that seemed to help with controlling my hunger.

"Hey you two!"

I just stood there unable to move just like my sister.

"If your hungry take some I'm getting full."

He was offering me some. Demons aren't suppose to be kind to one another. He's giving of no malicious smell towards me or my sister.

I broke out of my trance. And went to attack him.

"Hey! Aren't you a demon!"

In the end his head was pinned my my hatchet against a tree.

"WHAT THE HELL AFTER I OFFERED YOU FOOD WHAT THE HELL! ARE YOU EVEN A DEMON!"

I put down my muzzle.

"I am. But I'm not like you. Me and my sister haven't eaten a human and neither of us will."

"You really believe that. WOAH HEY GET ME OUT THE SUNS GOING TO RISE I DONT WANT TO DIE PLEASE!"

"I'm sorry I can't let you hurt anyone anymore."

"YOUR AN IDIOT YOUR GOING TO DIE TO!"

As the sun hit my face I watch the demons face turn shocked. As he turned to ashes.

"Your a demon."

"Huh?"

"You could have finished him. Your to kind for you own good. That will be your downfall."

"Who might you be?"

"I am Sakonji Urokodaki"

"Oh I am Tanjiro Kamado and that is my sister-NEZUKO"

"Don't worry I put her back in the basket we will go to my home."

"Yes Urokodaki-san"
Urokodaki pov~~

'A demon immune to the sun's rays and both of them able to chock back their hunger. This could be a problem.'

(Author here I apologize for the late update. And how short that this chapter was. I honestly just wanted to get another one out there today because I haven't updated in a while.
