"get the fuck out of here now, you fucking prick!" cedric was steaming. you could see the vein in his forehead become even more prominent. he glared at who was once one of his best friends. bruno betrayed him. hurt him. cedric didn't know if he would ever forgive him.
"i said get the fuck out now. i don't want to see you!" he began packing a bag of bruno's clothes for him. he wanted nothing to do with his roommate.
"go to alastair's for tonight just for fucks sake get out!" bruno got up from the bed, still intoxicated, and stumbled towards cedric. he just barely could see straight.
"look ced i don't know why you're being so *hiccup* protective over the girl," he managed to slur, "but you're like...my best mate." cedric opened the door as bruno made his speech. gallagher took the hint and continued on out of the dormitory. right before cedric closed the door on him, he looked him in the eyes once more.
"yeah, you were." he shut the door in his face.

ps. listen to headmaster dumbledore. very wise man. mind yourself with the dementors.ophelia placed her father's letter down on her desk. she wasn't sure if she should respond or not. well she didn't want to worry him, she knew that if she didn't answer he would worry anyway. he had every right to be worried. after the events that happened last night, she knew that he would be worried. her mind is still fuzzy and her head was hurting from the alcohol that she had consumed the night before. cedric. what ever happened to cedric? the last thing she remembered was him sitting next to her while she tried to go to sleep. her heart warmed at the thought of him being so caring for her. she laid in bed for a few more minutes before finally tearing the covers off of her. she quickly got dressed, not in her school robes as it was sunday. classes for the year would start tomorrow. she finished getting ready, and headed for the common room. eleanor had already left. probably eating in the great hall by now. when she arrived in the common room, the bright lights hit her in the face and it instantly made her wince. her head still hurting, she simply squinted her eyes and continued to look for cedric.
"hey, have you seen diggory?" she asked a familiar blonde headed boy. he was writing down quidditch plays on a spare piece of parchment. he set his quill down and looked up at ophelia with his blue eyes. they looked sad. full of sorrow. her head filled with confusion as he continued to look at her.
"hi ambrose. diggory um...oh might want to try the astronomy tower. yeah he likes to go there sometimes. if he's not, i don't know," there was a moment of silence between the two before alastair continued to speak, "hey are you-are you okay? i saw what happened last night. bruno was way out of line that bloody git." ophelia's stomach dropped and her heart started pounding. a sense of embarrassment washed over her at the thought of someone knowing what had happened.
"bruno deserves every bad thing coming to him. what he did was wrong. you as his friend should let him know that what he did was wrong and traumatizing." with that, ophelia turned her back on alastair and made her way to the astronomy tower. alastair watched her leave. a hole was forming in his chest. it was filled with uncertainty. he felt stuck in the middle. he knew what bruno did was wrong and cedric had every right to be mad, but both were his best friends. he tired to push the thought and continued his quidditch plays.

"where the bloody hell is the astronomy tower?" ophelia had been walking around the castle for what seemed like hours. she wanted to find cedric but she couldn't do that without help. her stomach started to growl. hunger hit her like a ton of bricks. at least she knew where the great hall was. she turned in the direction to the hall and continued down the corridors. she walked in and immediately noticed eleanor, sitting by herself, reading a book, eating. nothing out of the ordinary. ophelia made herself comfortable across from eleanor and began to eat."lia! great godric i was so worried about you!" eleanor said once she noticed ophelia across from her. she leaned across the table, practically jumping at her for a hug. they held each other for a moment before returning to their seats.
"i promise im okay el. i just want to forget about it." she looked down at her plate, suddenly not feeling hungry anymore.
"but it's not okay ophelia. he deserves to be expelled. you have to report him!" eleanor's eyes were filled with concern.
"i will think about it. i mean what if they think i'm lying? i don't want to cause any trouble. i just want to forget about it." ophelia muttered.
"that's what veritaserum is for," she looked at ophelia as if to say duh, "besides, no one will think you're lying. something needs to be done." the two sat in silence and ate. ophelia ate slowly. her appetite soon started to leave her with every small bite she took. a few minutes had past before she looked up at eleanor, who was reading again.
"el, do you know where the astronomy tower is?"
