* gasp* * cough* * cough*

Peter woke up with a loud gasp and coughed out a lot of blood, he was startled awake by the cry of Valeria.

" V-Valeria! *cough* " coughed out Peter as he applied pressure to his gaping wound.

" Father gets out of there, you are mortally wounded!" Cried Valeria through the comms.

" No! *cough* never, I will kill him if he tries to lay even his shadow anywhere near you*gasp* " gasped Peter for air after saying the long sentence, his lungs were aching.

" No father! Come back, " screamed Valeria.

" Not without slaying him, I don't have any other choice but to use it," choked out Peter between gasps, he spat out another glob of blood.

" No, you can't! It's not even stable, we only succeeded 75%," Valeria tried to persuade him away from his decision.

" I have to," without further thought he took out the cylindrical vial that has some scratches and hairline cracks caused by the battle.

He blurrily saw the liquid in the tube, he pressed a button on the tube as a thick needle emerged from one end.

" No father please don't, there can be a different way," sobbed Valeria.

" I won't lose anyone again, " said Peter with difficulty as he remembered how he lost his aunt May.

" I'm sorry Valeria but I have to do this for you," said Peter with a look of pained sadness and then he jabbed a needle beside his gaping wound and pressed a button that emptied the entire thick liquid inside him.

At first, nothing happened then suddenly his heart rate started to pick up and his lone eye turned bloodshot red. He started to shiver uncontrollably then his body came to a sudden stop, his heart rate dropped to a bare minimum.

" FATHER! SAY SOMETHING DAMN IT! " screamed Valeria.

CASTLE SABLINOVA

Peter and Valeria were inside the lab as everyone else was preparing for the upcoming war. Valeria was examining the strange liquid under the microscope as her eyes widened at what she saw. She quickly looked at Peter who was smiling slightly at her as he flexed his metal arm to remove some kinks.

" Uncle this is!?.... "

" I see you got it, yes this was the project I was working on before otto hijacked my body, I was working on this project for the betterment of people and mostly the medical field," revealed Peter.

" and this is not any different from others in the world even if it's not a living being like symbiotes?" Asked Valeria curiously.
