By the time Ari made it home it was 2:30 pm. After leaving BigHit, the stores were ridiculously packed causing her to take more time than needed.

Placing everything on the counter, Ari heavily sighed before going to her room to change out of her business casual clothes. Since she'd be cooking she figured it was best to wipe off the little makeup she had on. Using one of her aloe-based makeup wipes, it came off easily. After a quick facial wash, she kept on her lashes and moisturized her face. Lastly, she added her spearmint lip gloss because it not only adds shine but aids in lip moisture and repair if needed.

She threw on her fuzzy loungewear set; a cropped tank and shorts. It came with a matching fuzzy cardigan but since it was a comfortable temperature inside there was no need for it. There was a need however for her fuzzy black slippers showing off her white toes.

Since graduation was pushed back from the end of February to April, it was slightly warm and humidity was just kicking in. And of course, with a dash of humidity, the hair she took her time straightening started to frizz and curl back up. She blamed the store crowd for making it start reverting to its natural state but she hardly straightens it so she's not too upset.

Remembering the scrunchie on her wrist, she pulled her hair into a neat, low messy bun. With it all back it showcased the multiple earrings she wore out last night including the cute tragus ones. Once that was done she headed to the kitchen, not forgetting to activate the sound bar in the living room that instantly connects to her phone since the TV is off. Ari functions best when music is involved.

Wanting them to know a bit more about her and her culture, she settled on making something simple yet new to them. She had more than enough French bread left over to make her famous PoBoys. Ari washed her hands and began to prep the shrimp, oysters, and chicken. She prefers seafood PoBoy's but wanted to have a variety. Plus she'd heard that Mr. RM himself sometimes felt bad for eating sea creatures. If he decided to have a taste though, she wouldn't tell anyone.

She rinsed off the chicken and cut them into bite-sized pieces before sitting them to the side in a separate bowl from the already prepped oysters. Next, she had to peel and devein the shrimp. After that, she rinsed the shrimp thoroughly to be sure all the shells and veins were gone before placing them in their bowl.

With her seasonings from back home, she seasoned everything perfectly and added some buttermilk to let it all marinate for a while as she turned on the stove to heat the oil.

Now it would be easy for her to make pre-made fries but where's the fun in that for someone who loves to cook, especially for others!? It took Ari no time to peel, cut, and soak the potatoes in cold water. By the time all the main ingredients were put in seasoned flour/fish fry mix and fried, the potatoes had soaked for over an hour. All that was left was to rinse them and pat them dry before frying for the first round. After they all were fried once, she fried them again to rid them of moisture so they could be crunchy and maintain the flavor from the seasonings she was adding last.

As if the timing was done purposely, she received a text from Yoongi in the group chat saying they were 10 minutes away. That was enough time for her to cut the loaves of French bread into even pieces with some leftovers if they wanted more and slice them open so everything could be placed inside. Not caring for toasted French bread, she put them in the oven for hardly 5 minutes just so it was warm enough. All that was left was to pull out the variety of condiments, pickles, lettuce, cheese, and we can't forget the Louisiana Hot Sauce. She pulled out the plates and decided to wait on drink options until they got inside. With her working hard, she rewarded herself with a little red wine.
