These are as far as heaven will take the living, They resemble muffins with flat tops and taste like a giant, moist chocolate chip cookie.
Your family will be saying yum in no time.
Ingredients
3 cups flour.
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 tsp. Baking soda
2 cups sugar.
1 stick melted butter (1/4 whole bar).
2 eggs
2 cups chocolate chips.
Baking supplies
Large muffin pan
Sauce pan (for the butter)
Measuring cups and spoons
Large bowl
Ladle or large spoon
Spoon
Preheat oven to 375 F and melt butter in sauce pan on stove top low.
Start to combine flour, baking soda and sugar and mix
Shortly after, add milk then eggs and stir quickly. Keep an eye on the melted butter.
Your mix should be way wetter than cookie dough, but taste similar ( yum!)
Once melted, add butter to the mix and stir quickly with a spoon.
True fact, if you don't mix fast enough, the butter could cook your egg!
Dump your chocolate chips inside the mix and stir nicely.
Remember; No one will blame you if you sneak a couple of chocolate chips for yourself. Remember: it's chocolate!
Soon use your ladle or large spoon and add slowly to the muffin pan. Do not over fill; they puff up quite a bit.
Soon enough, your oven should be hot enough to cook.
Slide your cakes in and set the timer for twelve minutes or until your cakes are golden (he he he)
Once it looks like your cakes are ready, push your finger light against the tops of the cakes.
If your finger bounces off the top, they're ready. If it mushes a little, slap it back into the oven.
Let cool and serve.
Enjoy the little cakes of joy!
