Carson's POV

"Man who the fuck is that outside my fuckin house", said Carson confused.

While Carson was sitting on the beaten-up, orange coach, he spotted a dude in a black, hooded jacket. It looked like a Nike tech and the unidentified man paired the jacket with pumas. The unidentified man walked to the door very slow, which is odd because it was raining hard as fuck outside of Carson's house.

"Yo Carson, I know yo lanky, white ass in there", said the unidentified man standing by the door.

Carson looked at the door's peephole. To his surprise, it was Brandon. He hasn't seen him in years. Carson opened up the door and dapped up Brandon. Carson asked him the simple stuff-which is how has he been, and if anything new happened in his life as of late while he was in no contact with anyone.

"Things don't change huh", Brandon muttered to Carson. Brandon saw the same furniture and decor scattered around Carson's house.

While Brandon was gone, he served some time in jail and also did probation. He took the plea for the murder that happened years ago. It should have been Carson, but Brandon thought Carson has so much to live for. Brandon was 20 at the time the murder happened and Carson was very very young. He was 17. Brandon wanted Carson to complete school and move on from the situation.

"Damn you have an ankle bracelet", asked Carson out of curiosity.

"No", Brandon answered.

Brandon had to be under probation for 3 months, but he didn't have to have an ankle bracelet. Brandon felt a bit overwhelmed and nervous because it has been a while since he's seen, anyone to be honest. He also felt odd because he did time for something he did not do.

"Moving on, how's your mom? Is she good and what about that girl you were talking to", asked Brandon.

"Mom is good and Scarlet? I mean I haven't talked to her in years, but she does like up my pics on insta. I kinda miss her tho"

"Damn the kid have a heart finally", said Brandon sarcastically.

Carson before has always been perceived as heartless and nonchalant which is why he doesn't have many friends in his circle.

"Oh shut up man. Have you heard of that show, Euphoria?", asked Carson

"That show about that druggie ass bitch and multiple bitches who long for male validation", asked answered, Brandon.

"Yeah. Wanna watch it", asked Carson.

They decided to watch it in the living room. While doing so, they caught up with each other, ate snacks, and Carson rolled up. It was a good time for them both. Carson was alone for some time and Brandon was deprived of social interaction with anyone.
