After I posted my picture on Instagram, I got went into the kitchen and grabbed a snack. I then received a text from my mom reminding me to do my chores and that I have to babysit her friend's kids. Just awesome.
I then heard the doorknob ring and I got up and see who was it. It's the little critters and their mom. She seems very tired, but also nice. "I'll be back to pick them up at 2:30." She then kissed her kids on the forehead and told them to be on their best behavior. She then smiled and went back to her car.
One of the kids spoke and asked, "Can we go to the park?", he said nicely. I told him I can't drive them anywhere, because my mom took the car for today. I lied. My car is in the garage. I then asked them if they wanted some snacks and both of them said "Doritos", in unison.
When I got the bag of Doritos and put them on plates, Roy ate the chips super fast like he hasn't in days. Trevor ate his chips and relaxed while watching Shrek with his twin brother. I went to my room to find a board game they can play when the movie is over, but then Roy asked, "Where's the bathroom?". I then showed him the way and I found the board game "Sorry".
I then sat by Trevor and my favorite part of the movie came up when Donkey said, "BUT YOU GOTTA HAVE friendsssss!". The twins started to fall asleep and it's only 1:30. Welp. I then received a FaceTime call from Angelo. I quickly, but quietly ran to my room to talked to him.
I answered the call. He then greets me and asks what I'm doing today. I then told him I'm busy watching twins for another hour. He then smiles and I can tell he was thinking of something. He then asks, "Wanna do something after you're done babysitting?". I said sure and he said he'll call me back later.
Trevor got up and then asks me for some water which I understood his throat was a little dry from eating those chips from earlier. I poured water in a cup cause I know little kids normally don't drink a whole water bottle by themselves. I saved the other half for Roy soon as he got up.
I heard a car pull up and it's their mom. I then gave Roy his water and helped their mom buckle them up in the car. She then gave me 30 dollars for watching the kids and thanked me. She then honks the car to tell me bye. I sent Angelo a text saying I'm done babysitting for today.
About five minutes later, he texted me back and said "BET". After I read that, I read a car honk outside my house. I looked through one of the windows that are facing the street and I saw Angelo playing some songs from his clean car.
I then quickly grabbed my jacket, set the alarm, and locked the doors. He then says, "Hey girl". I then smiled and said, "Hey Lo". He then drives off and I asked him where is he taking me. He said, "You'll see". He then turned up his music and smiles.
I looked through the window that was on the passenger side and just relaxed. Angelo then placed his hand on my thigh. I like Angelo, so I didn't care. He then played "Faucet Failure" by Ski Mask the Slump God and when I tell you he goofed off. Dude goofed off. Over here swerving in lanes and doing the stank face. He made me laugh and made my day.
"We're here", he says excitingly. He then closed his door and opened the door that was on my side for me. He then placed his hands on my hands to surprise me. We walked for like a good two minutes and he took his hands off my eyes. It was a whole picnic set up just for us. See the little things count. I then hugged Angelo and pecked him on the cheek.
We then gathered by the well-prepared basket. He then says, "I forgot something. I'll be right back Lex". About two minutes later, he then brings out this big speaker so we can play some nice bops. I then connected my phone to his speaker played "Lovely" by Brent Feiyaz.
I then begin to munch on some strawberries and Lo went ham on a sandwich. Dude gobbled the whole sandwich in like five seconds. He then swipes his mouth and cleared his throat. He then says "Alexa, we've known each other for some time now and you know and I know we have a chance to make a relationship beautiful. Alexa you are a smart, funny, a beautiful girl. I want you spend my life with you and just give you my love. I hope I'm not moving too fast. But Alexa would you be my girlfriend?", he says nervously.
I then nodded my head and hugged him as I smile into his chest like a little kid who received ice cream on a good day. He threw blueberries at me cause I turned off "Fireflies" by Owl City. "You're such a meanie", he says while laughing. I'm glad I'm with him. He gives me this good feeling that I cannot describe. It's like heaven. A better place and a whole new life.
We then packed up and head to my house. I wasn't worried that my mom was home, because she arrives home at two in the morning. As we were heading to my house, he plays "Grown Woman" by Partynextdoor. Partynextdoor is my favorite R&B artist and this song gives good vibes when the sun is setting.
I then opened the door to my house and we then chilled on the couch watching Netflix. We decided to watch a few episodes of "Big Mouth" and cuddled. We fell asleep and just laid together. Best. Day. Ever.
