Night Fury

I aoke in Hiccup's house with a throbbing pain in my head. My eyes fluttered open to see Hiccup sitting on the left side of my bed with his head in his hands. "H-Hiccup?" I groaned. His head shot up, "Thank Odin! Oh Nova, it's so good that you're awake! I thought that the plasma blast killed you!" A plasma blast? Then I remembered the recent events that lead up to me laying in this bed, "I was so stupid for getting in between Shadow and Thunder." "You named that Skrill?" Hiccup gawked. I gave him a half-nod, "Dragon Training 101: Always give the dragon a name." He smiled, "D-Do you want to stand up?" I smiled, "Why not?" He helped me sit up and get off the bed. A scorching pain shot up my shoulder and into my head. I clenched my teeth together, "What happened to my head?" Hiccup paused, "When you got hit with the plasma blast, a chunk of your hair turned white. I don't know how or why, it just did." I took a deep breath and stood up and, to my surprise, there wasn't any pain that followed. "Where is Shadow?" I asked as I went for the door. I paused right as I clutched onto the door knob, I could hear voices outside the door. "I feel really bad Toothless. I WAS the one who hit her after all." "It's okay Shadow, really. You didn't know if that Skrill was going to hurt Nova or not. It isn't your fault." I blinked, who's voices were that? I opened the door to see Shadow and Toothless sitting outside. "Nova!" Shadow purred. I stepped back, "No. That's impossible." Shadow looked at me and then Toothless, "Is she ok? Did she lose memories?" I smiled, "Shadow... I can hear what you're saying." She cocked her head, "If you can hear what I say then jump on my back and let's fly." I grinned even more and jumped on her back. Toothless snorted, "She CAN hear you Shadow! That's awesome!"
"I can hear you too Toothless." I rolled my eyes. I dug my heels into Shadow's sides and she flew up into the air.
