I paced around my fortress of rock wondering where my Night Fury, Shadow, was up to. "She's supposed to be here by now." I muttered under my breath. Just as I finished my sentence I hear the unmistakeable sound of a speeding Night Fury get louder and louder as was pinned to the ground by Shadow. "Nice to see you too girl." I smiled as Shadow got off my chest. I rubbed her head as she flexed her pitch black wings. "I'm guessing you want to go on a ride with everyone else?" I asked her as she roared in response. I lept on her as I saw the rest of my dragons fly out of their own little nooks and crannys they called their nests. They all followed Shadow and I as we flew into the sky.

My name is Nova, the only daughter of Valka and the dragon master of the north. I live in an abandoned dragon nest north of Valka's home island, Berk. I've never been there but Valka said to never go there because dragon training was never possible there. I never believed that though because that was where I was going to fly to.

A sudden breeze knocked me back to my senses as I saw a huge island below me. I squinted hard to see a girl flying on a Deadly Nadder. I scratched Shadow's left wing which is my signal to tell her to stop. This couldn't be Berk now could it? I looked even harder to see two more dragon riders only the dragons were a Gronkle and a Monstrous Nightmare. I decided to circle Berk to see more dragon riders all over the place! I smiled as my conclusion led me to believe that someone on Berk learned how to train dragons. I wasn't the only dragon trainer anymore! I pondered if I should go down there and introduce myself. I glanced back over at my force of 45ish dragons and sighed, "I would scare them probably if all of my dragons came at once." So I made the decision to land all my dragons except Shadow, my Typhoomerang Pearl, and my Hobblegrunt Crab on a land mass a little ways away from Berk. I took a deep breath as I landed on right next to the massive crowd near the town plaza.

I heard gasps from some of the other vikings as I walked Shadow, Pearl, and Crab to the middle of the plaza. I heard distant whispers from the crowd as I passed by, "Who is she?" "Does she work for Drago?" "Is that another Night Fury?" Then, I saw two figures burst out of the cheif's house. One I reconized as my mother, Valka and the other I believed was my long lost brother, Hiccup. Valka stopped as soon as we made eye contact. Hiccup and a Night Fury that I assumed was his pushed through the crowd and stood in front of me. "Who are you?" He asked politely. I gulped as I answered nervously, "M-My name is N-Nova." I jumped off of Shadow and saw a couple vikings stare at me with wide eyes. "I don't work with the man you call Drago Bloodfist. I don't mean any harm to your people Hiccup." Hiccup's eyes were full of confusion as he stepped forward, "How do you know my name? We haven't met before." I bit my lip, "Yes, we haven't met before but we have one family member in common. That's why I'm here." Valka gasped, "N-Nova? N-Nova baby? Is that you?" Hiccup and I both turned to her. "Mom? How do you know her?" Hiccup asked. Valka took a deep breath and put her hand on Hiccup's shoulder as she answered, "Yes Hiccup I know her. When I was taken by Cloudjumper to the santuary, I realized that I was expecting another child. That child Hiccup, was Nova."

Hiccup stepped back and looked at me, "She's my sister?" I nodded, "I've been running another santuary up north since I was 17." Hiccup turned to Shadow, "Where did you find your Night Fury?" I looked around at the still massive crowd, "I think that this conversation should go inside." Valka nodded, "Let's go inside Hiccup. Nova, you can bring Shadow inside but leave Pearl and Crab outside." I gave a sly smile as I signaled Pearl and Crab to fly back to the others. I sighed as I stepped inside. This was going to be a long talk.
