A few days had gone by since I officially introduced myself to Hiccup and Valka. It took a few hours for Hiccup to process that he had a sibling but now we are pretty close. I have now found another suitable den for my dragons on an island just off the coast of Berk. So the past few days have been purely construction for my dragons' new home.

I smiled as the rough sketch of the den was completed. I then heard a faint Deadly Nadder cry mixed with a Night Fury. "Must be Astrid and Hiccup coming to check on me." I muttered to myself as I saw Stormfly and Toothless in the distance. I whistled and my happy-go-lucky Night Fury Shadow bounded up to me. I grinned and scratched her head that was completely covered in pure black scales. "Hey Nova! How are you doing?" I heard Astrid ask. I turn around to face her and sigh, "Well, you could say that its a start." Shadow wagged her tail when she saw Toothless and Hiccup land. I ran up to him and hugged him tightly, "Hi." I then saw something poking out of bag that was strapped to Toothless. "What's that?" I ask. He shrugged and answered, "Oh. It's just a saddle that I thought you might like for Shadow." I turned to him and then to Shadow. "I've never ridden Shadow with a full-on saddle before..." I awkwardly smiled. Hiccup and Astrid stared at me looking confused, "How?" I gulped. I then went up to Shadow and showed them how I rode her. "Much like Hiccup rides Toothless, I ride Shadow except with no saddle whatsoever. I find nooks in her scales and I place my feet there and plus," I added the last part slowly, "I trust them COMPLETELY." Astrid seemed taken aback when I said the last part, "But we trust our dragons too!" I sighed, "I know Astrid but I trust them on a completely different level than you do. Let me show you what I mean." Hiccup and Astrid braced for something to happen and I rolled my eyes as I whistled for my Timberjack, Timber. My huge orange and brown Timberjack flew gracefully towards me and I jumped onto his back without a second doubt. I raised my staff and found a slight nook in Timber's back scales, "Come on!"

I reluctantly climbed onto the back of my sister's Timberjack along with with Astrid. Nova smiled and raised her hand to where here Timberjack could see it, "Now, with Timber these signals count. I hope your ready because when I raise my hand above my waist, he'll fly." Astrid and I gulped. She shook her head and raised her hand to her waist. Timber's gigantic wings started to flap and Astrid clutched to me for dear life. I then realized we were gaining altitude and I tapped Astrid's shoulder. She opened her tightly shut eyes and gasped. I looked up to see Nova staring directly at us except that she was upside down. She was on the back of a dragon I couldn't recognize. I looked even harder to see that the dragon was a blue Typhoomerang. "With these dragons you really have to let the dragon do what it wants to." Nova smiled as she jumped from the Typhoomerang's back to Timber's. "How do you communicate with multiple dragons at once?" I asked. She pointed to her staff that still was lodged in Timber's tough scales, "I use my staff to make larger and more visible signals. Like so..." She then raised the staff out of Timber's scales and whirled it around her. I then heard a loud thunderous roar in the distance, "Umm Nova?" She looked back at me, "Yes?" I pointed to the very large mass of dragons flying directly at us, "Is that a cause for concern?" She laughed, "No Hiccup. Those are the rest of my dragons." I gulped as the group of around 40 dragons circled us in a tight-knit circle. "No cause for concern..." I mumbled.
