Chapter nineteen: the third task pt. 2

*time skip to right before the third task*

"Hey y/n me and Blaise want to sit on our own together if that's ok with you" Pansy says as we're about to leave

"Oh um yeah it's fine" I say taking Kaa out of her cage and letting her slither around my arm "where's Tom and Draco?" I ask

"Oh they both just disappeared for some reason" she says

(Just pretend Draco wasn't there and crab and goyal don't exist)

"And what about Theo? He just randomly disappeared" I say

"oh yeah.. I'm pretty sure filch finally found his stash"

"Damn after 5 years they finally found it" I say only half surprised

"Oh shit that means you and Matteo-

"Mhm" I say putting my lips together and nodding kind of awkwardly

"Well do you want me to come and sit with you then? or-

"No no, I wouldn't want to ruin your time with Blaise" I say chuckling awkwardly

"Oooh your the best" Pansy practically squeals and leaves with Blaise leaving me and Mattheo to be the only people there since everyone else had gone to where the third task was being held

"Hey darling" I heard from behind me and felt strong hands go around my waist

"Hello love" I say back and the dark haired Slytherin boy kissed my neck

"You want to just skip the last task and continue where we left off the other day?" He says smirking a little and I turn around to face him

"I'm sorry Mattheo but I can't miss the last task" I say looking into his eyes

"Aww why not" he says pouting a little

I just roll my eyes in response and leave the room

*time skip to when we get to the maze thingy*

"Cedric!" Yell over the cheers and the.. trumpets? walking up to him and giving him a hug "good luck I know you can do it" I say giving him a kiss on the cheek

He smiled at me and blushed a little "thank you" and kissed my forehead

When I walked back to my place in the stands I saw a very jealous looking Mattheo staring at me

"Jealous?" I say smirking

"Shut up"

"SILENCE" we heard Dumbledore yell and everyone became completely quiet "earlier today professor moody placed the triwizard cup deep within the maze, only he knows it's exact position. Now as mr. Diggory- he was cut off by loud cheering and cedrics dad picked up his sons arm "and mr. Potter- he continues but is cut off once again by loud cheering "we're tied for first position, they will be the first to enter the maze, followed by mr. Krum- and he was cut off again by loud yells and cheers "and miss Delacour. The first person to touch the cup, will be the winner!!" Dumbledore huddled around with the champions and after like a minute he yelled "champions! Prepare yourselves!" And everyone began cheering again

After everyone went in and like two minutes went by everyone stopped cheering and just started talking to each other

(Y- y/n M- Matteo)

Y: sooo
M: what uh- what should we talk about?
Y: well we can't really talk because we're in a "fight"
M: right, right.. you wanna, make out?
Y: I mean yeah but we can't be seen remember?
M: yes well I don't mind if everyone knows your mine *smirks*

I scoff and begin to walk to Pansy but stop in my tracks when I see her and Blaise snogging

"Well I guess I can't go there then" I say to myself

"Go where?" I heard a sweet voice say

"Hm? Oh nothing I was just gonna go to one of my friends but she's.. busy" I say looking up to a rather short pretty girl with long blonde hair and grayish eyes

"Well I'm sorry your friend is busy" she says

"Thank you. That's a cool necklace" I say pointing at the necklace she was wearing

"It's a charm actually"

"Oh?"

"Keeps away the nargles" she says in her high pitched voice

"Interesting" I say
...
"I'm Luna" she says all the sudden

"Nice to meet you Luna, I'm y/n" I say putting my hand out for her to shake and she shakes it

We talked for a little while longer and all then all the sudden we heard a faint bang and when we looked over there were sparks

"I wonder who's backing out" Luna says looking at the sparks

It ended up being the girl and she seemed really scared when she came out
