Chapter thirdy two: The rest if the summer in short stories ig

Burial
3rd person POV:

Y/n and Matteo had just gone outside to Narcissa's flower garden with Kaa

"Where do you want to bury her love?" Matteo asks y/n as they walk through the garden

(Sissy gave them permission to bury Kaa there)

Y/n took a moment to think "hmm.. over there" y/n points to a spot in the corner on the ground away from the flowers

"Alright" Matteo says and pulls out his wand but y/n surprisingly pushes his hand down "m-m" she shakes her head "I wanna do this the muggle way." Y/n says "here you hold her for now" the girl passes the dead snake to Matteo and gets on her knees and starts digging a small whole in the ground.

After she was done she got up and brushed her hands off against each other "right now give her back to me" Matteo handed y/n the snake "thank you" she said and got back in her knees to bury Kaa

She got back up again saw that Matteo wasn't there "Matteo?" Y/n asks but then she sees him "oh there you are," y/n starts walking to him "why did you go over there?" She asks

"To get a flower for the grave of course" he smiles and shows her the pretty iris that he picked

Y/n smiles back and they link arms and walk back to the grave

Matteo takes out his wand and whispers something making a rock go to the grave and engraving
'R.I.P Kaa' on it. He bends down unlinking his arm a little from y/n's and he puts the flower on top of were Kaa was buried. When he stands back up him and y/n just stand there for a moment before y/n lays her head down on Matteo's shoulder, when she does that he looked down at her and kisses her forehead and they both continued standing there for a few minutes before going back inside.

I'm actually kinda sad that I didn't keep Kaa for longer but whatever

Damn. But also.. He did what?! I mean I'm not surprised but like what?! I'm going to slit his throat when I see him next. And I miss you to my summer has been pretty good so far (way better then yours I'm assuming) although, it would be better if I could see you.

Haha I'll come with when you slit his throat because that's pretty much what he did to Kaa (next time we'll all be together will probably be on the train so make sure to bring something sharp)
