I grinned when I stood up, it was some loose pipes that was causing this couple fear.
"Do it again you two!" Mrs. Warren called causing me to step on the peice of loose wood hit the pipes while Mr. Warren knocked on the window.
I walked behind Mr. Warren and quickly got rid of my grin as we met with the elderly couple, Mr. And Mrs. Attkins.
"Pipes, loose wood, and the tree outside hitting the window, the pipes travelled the sound and the wood is what is giving off the foul smell—" "The Chemicals on the wood" Mr. Warren interuppted me and I nodded.
Mr. Attkins sighed and rubbed his face, "The money that'll be" He muttered causing me to look at the Warrens and they nodded.
"I can take care of it, free of charge" I insisted causing Mrs. Attkins to smile at me, "Oh Dear, we can't do that—" "I promise I don't mind" I stated causing Mr. Attkins to nod.
"Alright then, I have tools outside. Will you two be staying aswell?" Mr. Attkins asked causing me to look back at them, "Valerie, do you want us to stay?" Mrs. Warren asked me.
"You two can go home, it's been a long day" I stated causing them to spare me a smile.
"What a nice young Lady" Mrs. Attkins said as she began to go downstairs, "Yeah, we got lucky. We don't need a repair man now" Mr. Warren Joked causing Lorraine to turn and look at him.
"Cause I'm the best repair women" I stated proudly causing Mrs. Warren to turn and smile, "Yes Valerie you are, our house hasn't exploded yet" Mrs. Warren said causing me to take in a fake offended gasp.
I walked the Warrens to the door with Mrs. Attkins while Mr. Attkins went to grab the tools.
"Valerie, we'll be at our house, when you're done you need to stop by" Mrs. Warren stated causing me to nod, "Yes ma'am, I'll be there" I told her causing the Warrens to smile at me.
Mrs. Attkins waved at them, "Thank you both so much for coming! Sorry for the inconvenience!" She yelled causing Mr. Warren to turn, "No troubles!" He yelled.
Mrs. Attkins closed the door, "You have such nice employers" She told me before she turned. "Yes ma'am, I do" I stated, "How long have you been working with them? I haven't seen you in the newspaper with them" Mrs. Attkins asked.
"A little over a month" I informed and she nodded, "And you like it?" She asked.
"Their nice people, and I haven't been on a serious case yet.. but when I do I'll get back to you on that one" I half joked causing Mrs. Attkins to smile.
"So, you know what you're doing?"
I looked up at Mr. Attkins startled before I smiled at him, "Yes Sir" I stated as I took the tools from him.
"That's a first" He muttered getting a light slap on his arm from his Wife, "I traveled before I worked with the Warren's, I had a lot of jobs and a lot of people teaching me how to do things" I informed Mr. Attkins to comfort him and he nodded.
"So a hippie? I have a hippy in my home?" Mr. Attkins sighed as he followed me, "No Sir, I traveled alone and didn't do drugs" I sighed causing Mr. Attkins to nod his head.

.I walked into the Warrens house quietly to hear faint whispers, I knocked causing them to stop.
"Uh.. Mr. And Mrs. Warren, I'm back!" I informed as I turned and closed the door.
I turned and quickly jumped at the sight of Lorraine and Ed, "Shit!" I yelled causing them to frown even more than they already were.
"You two just.. teleport, I swear to it" I tried to joke but they didn't respond, only frowning.
"Did... something happen?" I asked begining to get worried, It seemed to give them the words to say.
"We have a case, it seems real and.. we're just worried" Ed admitted, "Why? You two will be fine, you guys do it all of the time" I said with a smile. Mrs. Warren shook her head.
"It's about you Valerie.. if it's a real case it means that you'll be there and we don't even know your limits and—" "Don't worry about it, we'll deal with it when we get there" I stated causing the ranting woman to look up at me, "Valerie, that's dangerous—" "And it's what makes it fun, so let's go!".
