(Hey guys, sorry I haven't been making stories lately, but I'm just letting you guys know that I am gonna be releasing an art book along with some chapters! If you have any suggestions, put it in the comments? Thank you! Now onto the story!)
The base was pretty empty other than the sounds of people sleeping, not like it mattered anyway. Torcher had changed the curfew to around 6:02 since most of my comrades kept passing out during training. Anyway, I decided to confront the boss about how the communications to the other outpost was disassembled. But I didn't really have the balls to tell him anyway. So I turned around and left.
6:07 am
Pollen was the 1st one to wake up out of everyone else (as usual) and decided that we should sneak out before Torcher noticed. I didn't think that would be a good idea since he always gave me and Pollen glares whenever we were by the gate, as if he knew I didn't want to be here.
"Pollen I don't think that would be a good idea, besides, what other way do you think we can get out of here? It's not like we can climb over the gate!"
Instead of just admitting that I was right, she just looked at me and replied with, "You are pretty short for an average male ya know, you can just jump over the fence with ease!"
"That's not what I meant-"
"Aww cmon! This place is like a prison! There isn't that much to do other than suffer and eat shitty food!" Pollen complained. I hesitated for a moment and finally gave in.
"Fine! On one condition, you give me your sharpest dagger when we get back and probably your rifle, deal?"
For a moment there was silence between us before Pollen sighed and agreed upon our agreement.
7:28 am
(Yes this is my art ;w;)
As me and Pollen continued drinking our milkshakes she started asking questions about me and Boss.
"Have you ever seen him with his mask off? He's always near by you!"
"You actually think that bastard trust me?"
"Well duhh! As your older sister I can tell when someone likes you or when you like them!" She continued moving her straw around as she kept babbling about me and the boss.
I sighed. "Pollen, out of the whole entire outpost, your the most dumbest person I've ever met."
"And your the most shortest person I've ever met!" She began to giggle as she saw my face turn red. I decided to look back at the clock and realized we've been there for an hour and twenty-one minutes. Shit.
"Cmon Pollen, we gotta hurry back!" I slammed my money on the table as I grabbed my sisters wrist and dragged her out the shop. I already knew we were dead meat.....
