I started getting a bit dressed, more like a T-shirt and some jeans, my hoodie being tied around my waist. I looked back at my room before making contact with the photo, quickly grabbing it as it was shoved into my pocket.

As I walked out it was pretty cold outside, not too cold. The wind went against my skin as I went to Torcher's office. I began knocking on the door, just for nothing of a response. I knocked on it again just to realize it wasn't locked, but more as if it was opened. As I went inside I saw Torcher sleeping on his desk, a bunch of papers scattered around and a cup of coffee next to the lamp. "Boss? You doing alright?" I asked him, only getting a movement response before moving his face into his arms again. I looked around to see if there was a blanket nearby before getting my hoodie, putting it around him. "Now I just have to wait to get my hoodie back..." I mumbled. I went to pull up a chair next to him as I sat down, watching over him to make sure he was alright. I'm not too sure on why I gave him my hoodie, maybe because I was in a good mood, or it's because it was cold outside and he could've gotten sick. As my thoughts continued to swarm my head I looked back at him, seeing one of his eyes opened before he sat up, rubbing them. "You could've just knocked Samuel.."

"You never answered. You were just sleeping on the desk and it was cold outside-" I saw his head turn to the papers before seeing one of my sleeves on his shoulder as he looked back at me. "So you put your hoodie on me while I was sleeping?"

"It was cold outside that's all, and I didn't feel like wearing my hoodie." I said, crossing my arms together before being pulled closed. "Well I appreciate it.." Before I knew it he was smiling at me, he was still pretty tired, but smiling. My whole face turned red for a moment before I quickly turned away. "No problem sir.."

"The reason why I called you here anyway was because you seemed like a curious person, and I wanted to learn about you some more" he said, giving me back my hood.

"Out of all the soldiers, why me?"

"Your quiet half of the time and you are always around your sister, and most soldiers talk about their days of before and after the infection, but your the only one that never really answers that question, so I want to get to know you better so that way I'll see what I can improve on" his gentle smile appeared, it kinda felt like he was trying to flatter me, but on the other hand he seemed innocent. I wasn't thinking for a moment when I looked at him, I just said what I could think of, memories that I had, memories I could only gather...

"I was in a hospital for 4 years, I think... I got into a car crash at the age of 13. Well, a bus crash to be exact. I can't really remember anything else other than a guy named Adrien being there with me, a lot, he kept calling me 'his little soldier' and everything.."
I looked away for a moment before being pulled closer to him again. "Well I think we could find him if you'd like me to." Hearing those words made me smile. "Thanks boss, wait.. what is your name..?" I asked him, he went silent for a bit before answering: "Just call me Torcher for now.."
