I wasn't about to go back outside in the cold, so I bunked with Torcher for the night, which is pretty weird. After I had been don't showering, I went to go sit down on the couch as I saw Torcher in the living room. "I have a spare room if you want to lay down-"
I interrupted him as I said, "I'm fine.. but thanks for the offer" he showed off a smile, making butterflies swarm inside me. "Ya know, it's pretty cold in the living room, do you want to sleep in my bed?" He said, looking at me with a smile. "I'm fine, I'm pretty much used to the cold anyway but I don't want you to sleep on the couch"

"Who said I was gonna sleep on the couch? I meant if you wanted to sleep together." He chuckled a bit.

"I wouldn't want to invade your privacy or anything, besides, it only happened for one day, so I'm not sure if it's really a good idea..." he shrugged as he walked into his room before handing me a blanket and a heating pad. "If you say so, but here, incase if you get too cold." He smiled as he went back into his room.

The moment I heard him close the door I quickly grabbed a pillow, screaming in it. { I lost my chance! How could I be so stupid?!} I thought, putting down the pillow as I slowly calmed down. Alright, it isn't THAT big of a deal. Besides, I only just figured out he likes me. So don't panic, you just have to wait a bit....

Torcher's POV:

Well that was a disaster. Right as I was going to bed I heard muffled screaming. Well to be honest that was kinda adorable.. As I walked around my room a bit, I got one of the books that I had, reading it. Before I knew it I heard a knock on the door. "He couldn't last that long huh.." I put my book down, opening the door just to see my mom instead, when I looked in Soldier's direction, he was sleeping. I'd look back at my mom, in which she had a sorta smirk on her face, before I could say anything she said, "I knew you liked that guy."

"Really mom... you know he's still sleeping right?" She began laughing a bit before looking back at me. "So that's what you meant by that troublemaker huh? Sammy used to be a pretty good kid to be honest.."

"I know I know-"

"And you were a little shit" She started chuckling, as I look at her. "I am not a little shit..."

"Tell that to your high school self, you used to throw knives at the trees as if our backyard was a military camp"

"I wonder who I got it from"

"Not your father, that's for sure. But the real reason why I came here was to visit you again, I know I don't visit that much but it's nice to see you and Sammy building that bond up again" I saw a smile on her face, something she doesn't usually do. "Now you protect him no matter what alright?"

"Alright, alright, now Cmon mom, it's dark outside and you need to get home..." I punched her shoulder a bit, joking around with her. "I will, love you my soldier!" She began walking out the door, closing it behind her.

I heard something as I saw Samuel, looking directly at me.
