Torcher's POV (finally-):
After that discussion with Soldier it kinda seemed obvious something was up. After a little bit I was going to ask if he was ok, but instead he was sleeping, with a book beside him. Filled with curiosity I decided to walk over to him, grabbing the book before sitting next to him. I'm not sure how he didn't hear me walk in, but I'm guessing that he doesn't get that much sleep. Some of the stuff in the book confused me while other pages made me feel a bit concerned.
I quickly closed the book as I heard him groaning a bit, knowing that he would be up soon. I quickly got up as I took the book with me before closing the door. The call was mostly about how the outpost was going and any missions so far, since, well, she's retired and everything. After the call had ended, I reopened the book and began reading it. He's an interesting and yet quiet person. Sometimes I try to get him to talk to me but most of the time it comes out negative. I'd sigh as I finished reading the book, laying back in the chair a bit. I began organizing my desk a bit since it looked a bit messy, I'm thinking of bringing the book back to him later, but it would be too awkward..
Before I was able to put it away I heard the door swing open. "Hey boss, I was wondering if you saw my brother's book any-.."
