As the battle in the Minigame proceeds to influence the players, the Running Men were left to battle each other to become the winner of the first Minigame event.
Liu chased after Pala, trying to reason with him as playing this game will only test their friendship and loyalty for the worst but Pala already made up his mind the moment he drank his potion.
The Golden Impala chased the Little Akong and easily manages to capture it for the score right before his Potion wore off and was left in an exhausted state.
The bug slowly approached his friends with a reassuring look as he spoke.
"Woah... Calm down, Pala. I'm sorry if I score a point earlier... I just really wanted to help you" Liu apologized sincerely but Pala ignored his words.
He placed an annoyed look and drank his potion once more. Turning into Gold before running at a remarkable speed to chase after the next Akong.
Liu watched in silence as Pala left. The way his friend ignored his sincere apology shocked him to the point where he couldn't even blink until the announcer spoke.
"Pala has scored another point! The score is now 3-2!"
"Dang it... There's no reasoning to Pala in his state" The bug mumbled as he watched Pala chasing yet another Akong. "If Pala continues to score like this then I won't stand a chance... But it's going to be difficult for me to go head-to-head against him..."
After monologuing, Liu quickly hopped on top of one of the floating platforms and followed Pala who was still chasing the miniature Akong on the ground. Once the potion wore off, and Pala was left in his exhausted state, Liu quickly leaped down towards the mini Akong and chased after it instead. Once the Akong was a few inches within his grasp, Golden Pala stepped in at the last moment and swiped the mini Akong from Liu. Gaining the score instead before he ran off to chase another one that just appeared.
"The score is now 4-2!" Said the announcer.
Liu stopped in defeat as he let out deep breaths after running so hard.
"I really can't defeat Golden Pala in terms of speed and agility... I must find another way..." The bug then scanned his surrounding, searching for anything that might be able to assist him. Soon his eyes stopped and were placed on the multiple portals through the Minigame stage. He pinched his chin as he was placed in deep thought, thinking of a new plan.Meanwhile, Popo, Lonky, Kuga, and Miyo seemed to be even more aggressive towards each other as they tried to earn points by capturing the pesky and slippery Akong.
It even reached the point where Popo had to bite Lonky's hand to prevent him from almost capturing mini Akong.
Successfully managing to thwart Lonky's attempt as he wailed from the pain, Popo leaped away from the giraffe and dove down towards the little Akong, and manages to grab hold of its leg.
The Mini Akong squirmed and wiggled, trying to break free but Popo held it tight with a wide smile across his face, u til Lonky's hand appeared out of nowhere and captured the little fella instead.
"Lonky scored yet again! The score is now 3-0!"
Bewildered by what just happened, the Penguin put on a sour look and rolled to his back before aggressively hammering to the ground with his hands and feet as though what a child would do when they were upset or angry.
"You cheater! No fair! No fair! NO FAIR!" Shouted the whining penguin as Lonky heartlessly laughed in glory.
Soon another Akong appeared a few feet away from Lonky. The giraffe quickly realized this and stretched his arms forward to capture it. However, the little Akong, surprisingly, evaded Lonky's attempt to snatch by a mere inch before running side to side, moving faster, unlike the others.
