Bathed in the radiant midday sun, the Running Man Players gathered eagerly near the portal, anticipation thick in the air as they awaited the start of the match.

Lonky noticed Kuga sporting a gleaming new pair of gloves and approached the fierce tiger with curiosity.

"What's with the new gloves?" the giraffe inquired, just as Yuu emerged from the opposite direction with Salena in tow.

"I thought you were all about embracing your natural paws?" Yuu remarked, casting a playful glance at Kuga, as Salena nodded in agreement.

Kuga hesitated momentarily, then gestured towards a group of Pululu's enthusiastic fans gathered nearby.

"They gave these to you? Looks like you've gained quite a following," Yuu observed with a smirk.

"How sweet!" Salena chimed in.

"Regardless of the new gloves, I'm still set on becoming the champion of this game," boasted the proud giraffe, twirling his Takji card deftly between his fingers.

"Have you forgotten who dominated all of you in our last battle?" Kuga retorted confidently, but his demeanor shifted when Liu joined the conversation.

"What was that? 'All of us'? Seems someone's forgotten who the true King of Takji is," Liu interjected with a victorious smile, causing Kuga's bravado to falter.

"I'm lost," Yuu admitted, seeking clarification.

"In short, Kuga and I were the final contestants in the Ultimate Takji, and I won decisively," Liu explained.

Defeated, Kuga looked away, his competitive spirit momentarily subdued, while Lonky and the others exchanged knowing glances.

"Speaking of which," Salena piped up, her ears perking as she turned to the Human. "Have you learned the basics of Takji like the lady with the white hair mentioned?"

"Yeah," Yuu replied nonchalantly, his gaze relaxed as if he had no worries. "Basically, I just need to hurl my card really hard at the opponent until it flips them, right?" As soon as Yuu finished speaking, laughter erupted from the entire group, even the Pululus. "What?"

Liu chuckled heartily, as if he had just witnessed a child stumble in a park, and patted Yuu on the shoulder, wiping away a fake tear before speaking. "Oh, young Yuu, so innocent. Takji is much more than just throwing your cards like a brute. Ask Kuga here. He learned that the hard way."

Yuu glanced over at Kuga, who avoided his gaze, confirming Liu's point. Then he felt a gentler pat on his shoulder, this time from Salena.

"Don't worry, I'll show you the ropes when we get there!" the bunny said with a warm smile.

"But we'll spawn randomly once we enter the portal," Yuu countered.

"Then I'll just search for you!" Salena declared proudly. Before Yuu could argue further, the announcer's voice boomed through the facility.

"Preparations complete. Portal now opening."

As the portals crackled to life, the Runningmen wasted no time leaping into the shimmering vortex. Lonky was the first to spawn in the game, descending gracefully from the sky like a majestic comet.

"Alright, stick to the plan. Find the Iron Beast and align with him," Lonky strategized inwardly.

As if on cue, the Iron Beast emerged from a corridor ahead, its metallic footsteps resonating through the labyrinthine maze.

Grinning mischievously, Lonky dashed towards the Iron Beast's side.

"Goodness gracious! It's really you in the steel!" the giraffe exclaimed, employing his most potent skill—flattery. "The Champion who vanquished Vivace!" Lonky paused, waiting for a
