Tile Flip Part 3: Trust is Earned

"Think this through! You can still turn back. This is clearly not the best time for a rematch!" Says the human with a straight posture. His hands shoved within the pockets of his coat. His scarf dancing across the breeze.

As much as he hates to admit it, he clearly has the losing hand. So stalling would be the only thing that could end this match with a tie.

Salena, who's already in her Lei Zhi form, smirked and twirls a blue strand on her white hair. Her smirk slowly becoming an amused smile.

"On the contrary, this is the perfect time for our rematch! I would have done it back at the School but we were busy dancing and you spent the first weekend sparring with Kuga so I was really left out!"

"Then let's spar after this match!" Yuu immediately suggested.

"But we'll be exhausted" Salena replies with a pout.

"Then tomorrow! I promise I won't forget about it!" Yuu immediately suggests once more.

However, Salena's pout grew to a devilish smirk.

"Why does the Red Eyed Phantom suddenly wants to evade a fight before the main match? That's so unlike you"

"What are you talking about? I-im not evading anything" Yuu asks but his voice cracks a bit. He hopes Salena hasn't heard it.

"Your voice just cracked!"

Welp, she heard it.

"I... I just want to conserve energy. The last Guardian we faught was strong. Surely the next one would be a lot harder than the previous one"

"Hmmm that is good point... Dang..." Salena mumbles as she taps her chin. Yuu sighs behind his bandages covered face and closes his eyes for a brief moment.
"A really good point! But... I hate it when my first and only rival stalls for time"

Then, Yuu's eyes flashed open. He could see Salena smirking at him, electricity starting to bounce on her body again before she dissapears from his sight.

Yuu only had to blink before Salena's feet appears infront of his vision and kicks him across the face and sends him flying across the wall before his unconscious body falls on the floor and signals the end of the match.

Or did it...?

Yuu opened his eyes again but this time, Salena was still standing on the same position before she humiliatingly knocks him out with one kick. He was taken aback, question if he imagined it had happened. Then, Salena's next words alarmed him.

"A really good point! But... I hate it when my first and only rival stalls for time"

He blinks just as she dissapears. In a split second, he instinctively rolls away just as Salena appears rocketing with both feet in the direction where his face used to be. She ends up landing on the wall and cracking it either her attack before bouncing off the wall and landing on a tile that flipped to green.

Yuu rolls and pauses for a moment. His eyes widened and planted on the floor.

"The Heck was that just now?! Was that... Did I... Did I just had a premonition?!"

Realizing the fight is still going, he quickly pushes himself off the floor and faces Salena with a defensive stance.

"Wow! Your reflexes increased! Those sparring sessions with Kuga must had really helped! But this is one of the reasons why I should feel left out!"
