The Running Man was agitated as they stood face to face with a more menacing version of the Castillets and Spearmen Elites. With a dark and ominous aura surrounding the environment, the bandaged man was placed on edge as he readied himself for their next action.
Their two groups of opponents then started to move forward in unison. Marching toward the running Man in a horizontal line to take them head-on.
The Running Man was forced to move back to avoid their wrath, however, they are already near the end of the platform when they realized it.
"G-guys, if we keep backing away we're going to fall off the platform!" Shouted Lonky from behind them.
"No choice then... Let's take them head-on!" Liu shouted before the four main attackers of the Running Man charged at the Pululus.
Yuu whipped his bandages towards one of the Castillets but was stopped by a yellow barrier that suddenly formed in front of the Castillets and the Spearmen Elites.
Kuga tried breaking the barrier by throwing his most powerful punch along with Liu, who kept firing at the barrier, but only moved the Castillet by an inch as their barrier is too strong even for Kuga.
The tiger proceeded to attack the barrier while Miyo jumped onto Kuga's back and planned to attack their opponents by jumping over the visible barrier but was intercepted when one of the Spearmen Elites on top of the Castillets jumped upwards and attacked Miyo.
Forcing her to fall back towards Lonky and the rest before running towards Miyo's aid.
"Miyo, are you alright?!" Lonky, Popo, and Pala asked at the same time out of sheer concern but the feline only replied with a painful grunt as she held her right arm before helping her stand up.
"Their defenses are too strong...!" Miyo spoke as she stood next to Liu and Yuu.
"We know... How's your injury?" Yuu asked with hints of concern.
"I'll do fine... Thanks" Miyo replied.
"At this rate... We'll get pushed off of the platform..." Liu mumbled audibly.
"What are we going to do now?!" Lonky asked out loud, popping his head up from behind Kuga.
Soon, they heard the penguin's laugh. Watching Popo walk past them with a confident smirk as he held a card in-between his fingers while still cackling.
"Leave this to me, the most powerful Magician in the world" Popo boasted as his smirk became wider.
"I have a card that can destroy them like that! I'm not afraid of using high-level magic anymore because of the potion Pala made for me. It stopped me from de-aging. Haha!"
"Great! Now do something to help us!" Yuu responded to the others. Sounding hopeful as Popo made one last laugh.
"Of course, my friend... The One who rules the Car-"
Suddenly, just as the cards started to float above Popo's head, a flying Spearmen Elite grabbed the penguin and carried him up in the air. Only hearing his scream and cries for help instead of the spell he was going to cast.
The Running Men fell to an awkward silence as they watched how the Spearmen tossed Popo out of the platform. Eliminating him in the process.
"Popo Out!" Said the speaker.
"OOOUUUTT!" The three remaining Red-cloaked Pululus repeated as part of their announcement.
"Popo!!!" Lonky leaned forwards from the end of the platform as he watches Popo fall down the lower grounds.
The rest of the Spearmen Elites launched themselves up and flew together in a flock while the Castillets proceeded to forwards.
The Spearmen threw their spears at them, causing everyone to break apart and spread as they evaded the spears altogether.
