Star Wars Rebels: Lyra's P.O.V

Secrets Discovered

"What is it?" He asks and i look around listening for anyone outside the door.

"I want to go back to the Sift but i know the others will start to wonder where i'm going and might start to worry so i need you to come with me or for you to cover for me or for you to come with." I say and i look at him. He watches me and sighs looking down at the table.

"Fine but i'm coming with you i'll tell them i'm taking you on a trip for training because how much farther you are then he is." Kanan says to me.

"Okay when do we leave?" I ask him softly.

We leave as soon as our conversation ends. Kanan walked out to talk to Hera as i got my stuff and we left. When we got to the Sift the lights were out and everything is quit except for the sound of our foot steps. We walk to my tent and enter it. Steel sits on my bed his arms crossed on his chest when he sees me he gets up walks over to me and hugs me.

"Well?" He asks me looking at Kanan.

"It didn't look like anyone was watching and i'll be here for like four days so we can give the Empire a little reminder." I say smiling and he laughs.

"Well you have a ton of paper work to go over need you to approve them so i'll leave you to that." He says smiling at me.

"Okay bye Steel." I say softly. He turns and leaves I look at Kanan and walk over to the table that holds my four days work. I sit down on my bed, after one glance at the paper work i deside i want to rest first and i also don't want Kanan to know somethings despite what Yoda said, Kanan does the same. When we are ready i turn out the light and wait for Kanan's breathing to become even and calm.

I don't know when but at some point I fall asleep and wake up to the yells I always dreaded. I jump out of bed grab my helet and blaster, lightsaber already in its sleeve, Kanan on my heels as we run out the door. I run down the neat paths as people move out of my way. Steel is up ahead asking people to calm down.

"Why is this happening?" Someone yells.

"They've never attack this close before." Another says another and this makes it worse. Some where I hear my name and a few others agree that the Sift needs me when I reach Steel everyone is up and freaking out. I get up on top of one of the tables.

"Shut it!" I yell and everyone stops and looks at me. "By running around and screaming we do exactly what the Empire wants us to do." I say.

"They've attacked the west towns." Steel says.

"All fighters who defend the west towns head to the gate the rest of you head back to your tents." I say. I jump down and head for the west gate. Steel and Kanan and a few others follow me. When we reach the gate everyone else is there. I open the door and run down the tunnel.

"Plan?" Blast asks me being the leader of the west town defense he had to come and fight.

"Fight the Empire and give Shadow enough time to get there." I say as we rush through the tunnel. "Just make sure Kanan goes back to the Sift okay." I say as I open the door that leads to the west towns . I run up to the ladder and climb without stopping when I reach the top I throw a bomb and smoke appears so fast no one can react to it. I climb out and help the Sifters out to. When Kanan is out in leave them and climb onto the tip of the roof as the Sifters fire on the troopers . I get a feeling and dread fills me. I put my helmet on and head and I walk over to the edge. I grab to of my bombs and throw them down. Purple smoke spreads across the ground. I jump down and land in between the Sifters and the storm troopers.

When the smoke clears I draw my lightsaber and open it. The blade that is usually green is now purple. My helmets voice changer is on so no one will know its me.
