" sir I think you need to hear this." I say and he looks at me. I turn on my comlink and just like I knew it would my holocron message begins.

" people of Lothal my name is Lyra I'm the leader of a group. A rebel group. A group the Empire calls insurgents but we are not we are rebels. we call ourselves the Sifters. the Empire's been hiding us from you. trying to stifle our spark but it won't work one death won't make us go back into the dark back into the silence. we fight for our freedom most of us here have lost our families our mothers or fathers or brothers and sisters the Empire doesn't do anything good it just takes everything away! It takes it from you. I'm only 15 and I've been through more battles than any common 15 year old girl! we're all around you we may be your own children may be your neighbors or maybe just the person you buy your groceries from. not all of us fight though some of us just helps heal the ones who have been hurt by the empire and others just hide their some come to the city to seeking safety and refuge. I'm saying this. I'm calling back all Sifters old and current I ask you to return we are no longer hiding the Empire must see justice and we will fight back to bring that justice! But for this to happen we have to fight as one together for freedom !" As I continue my voice grows stronger and louder but this is it. it's the end I'm calling everyone back it's time to fight. I shake my head and The Inquisitor leaves the room and I smile and I start laugh but then I stop. I look at Kanan. he looks at me like I'm crazy. I smile and step closer.

" Once a Sifter always a Sifter no matter what." I say as I slowly move the collar of my shirt showing the left side of my chest on it is the symbol of the Sift right on my collarbone.

"Who are you? Did Lyra send you?" He asks but I don't answer. He looks at me starring at me then his eyes widen. He finally sees who I truly am. He knows who I am.

"Lyra! What are you doing here you need to leave now or you will get found." Kanan says and I shake my head.

"No I'm not leaving you to die Kanan." I say. I walk closer to him and put my hand on his shoulder.

"I'll get you out of here I promise." I say. and I turn to leave. "Kanan if they do find out who I am and someone comes and gets you out don't try to save me." I say. The door opens and the Inquisitor walks in. My first instinct is to run but I stay put. He pulls out his lightsaber and points it at Kanan. My next breath catches in my throat.

"You will tell me where your rebels friends are." He says when Kanan doesn't reply he speaks again. "Your apprentice is here isn't she." The Inquisitor says a small smile pulls at his lips. Kanan looks at the Inquisitor but his eyes flash to me. He, the Inquisitor, swings his lightsaber back at me and a cry slips out of my lips. I stand as still as possible and I lift my head as he pushes it closer to me and I gasp as I hit the wall and it almost touches me. The Inquisitor looks at Kanan with a smile on his face. "Now tell me the location of your rebel friends." He says. I look at Kanan my eyes wide.

"Why should I care if you're about to kill one of your own?" Kanan asks and the Inquisitor laughs.

"You think I'm stupid don't you?" He asks he closes his lightsaber and grabs my arm yanking me forwards his grip is strong and painful. He rips my hair out of it's bun so it's easy to see it's me. He throws me to the ground in front of Kanan and opens his lightsaber once again.

I slowly get up but when I do something slices my arm. A cry of pain escapes me and my hair falls into my face. I gasp for air as tears roll down my cheeks. I look up at Kanan.

"Now where are your rebel friends?" The Inquisitor asks. I shake my head. "Where are they?!" He asks moving his blade closer to my throat. I start to breath faster. Kanan would not risk losing me I could feel it. I had to take his attention and fast.
